Insania was at a loss for words...
No! at a loss is an UNDERSTATEMENT! She's actually short circuited her brain for a few seconds.
Aside from the [Conceal] skill which can be learned by Rouges or Archers the 4 Lightning affinity skills are a godsend!.
It made her chuckle and think about a certain small yellow pokemon.
'So Im an Electric Type pokemon now huh? Is my weakness water?'
If Insania sold these in an auction somewhere it could net him close to 70+ gold coins for each grimmoires. The main reason is that they are skills and not spells.
The difference between a spell and a skill is fairly simple.. It is the Cast-time... skills are instantaneous and can be activated by a single thought while, spells are all chanted and require the Mage Passives [Mana Manipulation], [Elemental affinity] and many other Caster passives to work. Even the lowest of all the elemental spells have a cast-time of 3 or 2 seconds; there are more differences between the two but lets leave them for another time.
If Insania sold these grimmoires the one that would net her the most gold would undoubtedly be [Re-Charge], although it can only absorb 8000 Lightning damage, it still is an Anti-Lightning affinity skill and the bane of all Lightning Mages, It even works wonders with the skills [Dis-Charge] and [Over-Charge]!
She could easily get 300 to 350 gold for these 3. But Onille has removed all his thoughts of deleting his avatar now that lady-luck came his way. To forsake this furry feminine flesh is to forsake LADY LUCK herself.
Insania advanced and headed towards the next room. Having nothing to do whilst travelling the narrow corridor, she opened her skill tree and saw 6 Skill points and bought some skills that felt useful.
[Double Jump]: Gives user a foothold in the air allowing user to jump a second time mid-air.(Cannot be used to block attacks)
Cooldown: 10 seconds.
Manacost: 50
Now these are all her skills.
[Bow Mastery(II)], [Strengthen Might], [Agile Reflexes], [Weapon Imbue], [Four is Better Than Two(II)],[Double Jump] with 5 Skill points to spare for her class skills.
Insania rummaged through her small bag, which strangely clung to her fur like gum and took out the Class change Scroll.
*Ting
Class Change Scroll(Unique Y): Bow n Blade Expert*
*Ting!
Do you wish to use this item?*
"yEEEEs" Insania replied barely reigning in her excitement.
*Ting!
Scroll Requirements
Player must be level 20^ [✓]
Player must have [Bow Mastery(II)] [✓]
Player Must have [One-handed Sword Mastery(II)] [X]
Player must have 2 Unused Skill Points [✓]*
"Why 2 specifically?" Although confused Insania still opened the skill tree that specifically sells Mastery. Though it hurts using an SP for a skill without immediate gain, she still needed it leveled up early for the Twin Blades of Lust requirement.
[One-handed Sword Mastery]: Gives the user more proficiency with the sword and refines their techniques.
Closing the notifications Insania glimpsed light further ahead, she exited the tunnel and was met with a wide field, its ceilings as high as 2 storey houses, and the entire place had some decent shrubbery despite being underground.
Looking around Insania was flabbergasted after beholding the huge space...
'Can this really fit in a cave?' she pondered. The size isn't as big as the gymnasiums in earth but its pretty big like, 5 Tennis court pieced together like a puzzle.
Insania's eyes grew wide as humanoid statues armed with bows slowly raised out of the ground surrounding the field, on the field she saw a ball and further in what could only be a golden ring floating mid-air without any pillar or support, the ring resembled a hoop so much that piecing two and two together Insania concluded that this is a probably and hopefully the final challenge!
Judging by the size of the place Insania knew that speed will be her greatest weapon so she (10×3) Attribute points to her Agility boosting it into a whooping 25+40+(39)=104 points.
She sprinted towards the ball. The statues moved and rapidly fired arrows at her but because of [Four is better than two(II)] increasing her movement speed by 120% none of the arrows connected.
She made it to the ball, held it, bounced it a few times as arrows kept raining down on her from all sides, she then glanced at the golden hoop and went for a 3 point shot, without even slowing down to catch her breath, she followed the ball as it made an arc in the air beautifully scoring a 3 pointer basket.
A giant number one appeared up the ceiling, making her grin. She had a gist of what she needed to do... but to think it was this simple! but then the golden ring vanished and reappeared at another spot, near 3 statues, getting the ball once more she dribbled it while dodging arrows left and right, her reflexes were strained to the maximum and her passives synchronized with one another, After dumping 10(30) AP to her Agility and making it reach the hundreds she received a 1% Boost proc every minute. Which doubles her speed for 2 seconds randomly whilst in motion. There are other Proc's for the other attributes but it will be explained in due time.
10!
With every score she grew even more excited as adrenaline pumped straight to her brain making her extremely sensitive, she can hear the arrows whistling towards her without even looking, giving her a sort of sixth sense.
Score after score the attacks became relentless and unforgiving, she hasn't stopped and took a breather since this ordeal started because she couldn't! The statues will never give her the time to recuperate!
After scoring 50+ she heard a system ding and spared a few seconds to glance at it.
*Ting
you have been inflicted with [Body Attribute Imbalance] debuff*
*Ting
you have been inflicted with [Strained Physique] debuff*
"Sh*t!" Insania cursed... although maxing one attribute and leaving the others sounds like a good idea it actually wasn't... having too much of one physical attribute leads to the [Body Attribute Imbalance] debuff.
[Body Attribute Imbalance]: Individuals afflicted with this debuff will lose 0.5 attribute per sec from their highest physical attribute for 30 seconds. (Multiplied by 2 per stack). Debuff lasts for 1 hour.
Meanwhile the other debuff isn't much now but it will be if Insania doesn't stop moving. It's one of the indicators to the most painful debuff called [Internal Bleed].
Insania was on the clock and she willed herself to sprint and score faster!
67!
An arrow hit her left shoulder
but her brain couldn't register the pain due to her insurmountable focus. Her eyes kept scanning the field for where the next hoop will reappear.
Another hit her yet Insania didn't stop she kept scoring, and scoring nonstop, even usi, dribbling and seldom using [Double Jump] to prolong her air time as she dunked the balls. Her movements were not pnly fast but also predetermined.
95!...
97!...
As if 2 ridiculous debuffs weren't enough already another chimed in.
*Ting
you have been inflicted with [Over-Fatigue] debuff.*
Insania slowed down to a crawl, arrows connecting her body, but she didn't give up she kept going and shot the hundred'th shot.
100!!
HOOONK!
The ground trembled then the statues disintegrated. Despite close to passing out while groaning she dragged her feet towards the opened door. The pain of multiple arrow-heads penetrating her back is unbearable, for most people that is; but to Insania all the pain were merely buzzing itches 'Treasure' was the only thing present in her mind, the treasure chest she saw straight ahead kept her body from collapsing.
Inside the small opening a chest was on top of an altar not just any chest but another Gold Chest!. Reaching her hands to open it Insania lost all her strength and passed out near the chest.
(PLEASE COMMENT YER THOUGHTS, IT MAKES ME HAPPY)
