After logging out Onille went outside, stood at the paved sidewalk and stretched his lithe body for 30 minutes in an attempt to warm up and go for a short jog. The sun hasn't risen yet and darkness illuminated by the faint moonlight still shrouds the places without streetlights.
Onille jogged towards a nearby ATM and claimed 100,000 dollars from his bank account. Banks requires a lot these days because if you want it to be connected to your VRTC account in Epic of The Gods you need to provide a fingerprint and retina scan, blood, hair, and DNA biometric to claim cash gained inside the game and of course the opposite is possible.
He then returned home after buying his past workout diet at a 24/7 convenience store.
"This should last me for 2 weeks"
Afterwards he spent the rest of the day, either exercising, eating or sleeping, his sets of exercises were so intense that he would collapse on the spot whenever he finished a set. His set includes 400 push-ups under 10 minutes, 300 pull-ups in 8 minutes and then 250 Sit-ups in 6 minutes, and the finisher is 20 minutes plank. All these in-order, without taking a single break could potentially kill an inexperienced person and due to that, Onille collapsed and fell asleep.
Onille is a 25 year old guy that didn't go to college, quit his job after having enough money to buy the VR game and is living like an unemployed hermit, he's a man with no set of responsibilities on his shoulders or a shred of ambition in his core, untill NOW!
Now he has acquired a new sense of purpose inside the game and his heart couldn't help but race everytime he thought about yesterday.
No player can ever experience a first day like he had, it was shimmering with outrageous game breaking luck comparable to winning the lottery TWICE maybe even THRICE! and! depending on his future actions he didn't even need to work if he could make a living off the game... so to accomplish such aspirations the intensity of his home work-outs were equally matched with his resolve. Onille could envision his bright future in the game and this has been the only time he's ever looked forward to something for a long, long time, but right this moment Onille slept like the departed.
Epic of the Gods is a simple game without time dilation, 1 hour in-game is still the same IRL and it is only accessable during night time. Night in game is day in reality and vice versa, that sounds easy enough to understand right?
Now here's the Time Delay Phenomena that baffles even researchers themselves. Lets say you live in a place that is currently 10:00 A.M so what's the other side of the worlds time? It's probably close to 10:00 P.M in the evening right? meaning that they are either sleeping or playing the game via sleeping.
Lets say you know a friend on the other side of the world that has the exact opposite to your timezome. If, lets say that this friend of yours chose to spawn in the same kingdom as you and spawned in the same beginner village.
You will see him while you are gaming even though you know that its still day on their side of the world and he will also see you once he logged in during night. If you two are, lets say talking and grinding together... Its as if the both of you are logged in at the same time, even though you both know that you have different IRL times, which begs you to question.
How does it work? Why is the time difference only 1-1... And why is the in-game world FLAT!? Alas... Only the strong will obtain the answers or so the game developers public statement said.
"Only Time and Strength will answer your questions... And also the Game Forums."
...
Onille woke up and went out again to eat in an all you can eat restaurant near his Rent-house and after a couple of minutes digesting the food he logged back in.
Another night, another day. Insania's body materialized where she previously pixalated from, she first checked her items, then after she was sure everything didnt suddenly disappear from her inventory, she walked around the village and asked the villagers which way is the nearest city, she had the world map but its always better to ask than not, although she could technically use the World Map but she didn't want to pull out such an item even if it can't be dropped.
They all pointed East, so Insania exited the village eastern side and sprinted away. First she needs to get to RiYld City there she can use the teleportation platform that costs 10 gold coins to teleport towards Mortar City.
Traveling in this game is hella expensive and you'd need a whole boatload of gold in order to cross the border of the different nations.
Insania already trashed the idea of deleting her character so... she made a plan IRL. Her main priority is gaining access inside the Elven Nation, once she's in she'll need to buy those trinkets that the Elves sell and use to combat their lust. The s*x toys... she already knew it was wrong and she absolutely loathed the idea but what else can she do in order to suppress the [Curse of Lust]? Getting there would be a problem so Insania planned on joining a beastkin or human merchant caravan heading towards the Elven Nation, which is easier planned than done.
Insania had it planned so she activated [Conceal] and sprinted East. In her estimates it would take atleast 12 hours to get to RiYld City that just shows how big the beastkindom territory is, even counting her movement speed with [Four is Better Than Two(II)] and the random BOOST proc that doubles her agility again. So If and only if... She didn't have said passive she'd take at most 28+ hours normal human sprint to get to the nearest City! adding the time that she needs to rest in order to avoid the [Overfatigue] debuff.
She used [Conceal] everytime she meets with a monster beyond her level. Although she can kill it.. It would take a lot of time.

She stopped after 2 hours of constant running, she glanced up at a tree and used [Double Jump] and landed at a trunk, she rested at the topmost branch that hid her from threats below. Her gaze landed on a yellow fruit just within her reach, plucking it from the branch she took a small bite.
Epic of the Gods pursues absolute realism but strangely enough the Hunger System still isn't added in this game yet. The developers said its still too early, and players should cherish the fact that their avatars still don't need daily sustenance like their real bodies. They will update it when the time comes.

Insania hurriedly spat it out.
*Ting
your [Poison(II)] debuff has been cured.*
"Damn thats deadly" Insania shuddered at the lingering feeling of her tongue burning like that, she had no Health pots so she could only rely on her natural regen.
That single bite gave her 2 stacks of [Poison] debuff! She felt it'd be 10 times deadly had it been concocted into a potion and concentrated. Then an idea graced her making her smile sinisterly. 'I can use these'
Scanning the tree she found that there are 12 more of these large yellow fruits, she glanced at the one on her hand and found that it had already rotted so she threw it away, Insania hastily climbed the tree, branch by branch and stored the fruits in her convenient dimensional storage. The weight would have slowed her down otherwise. Insania couldn't help but snicker. "Hehehehehe"
In Epic of The Gods there are all kinds of fruits and plants but players won't know what they do unless they get a skill or spell that helps them scan it.
Some are poisonous whilst others give amazing buffs and all of them are raw materials that can be brewed into Pots, Potions and Elixirs. It's a huge world where exploration is priority number one.
This game doesn't give players an avatar map, so players can easily get lost in the woods if they're not careful. Among other things that players don't have are Hitpoint, Manapoint or stamina bars in their field of vision. Communication through telepathy or messages also doesn't exist in this game, but there is a Communication Trinket being sold and traded.
After gathering all the fruits she went on her way, she planned on turning these fruits into deadly Poison Pots, she couldn't help but snicker again thinking about it.
What she's doing is textbook Rouge player strategy to kill faster, they forage all sorts of plants and turn them into deadly poison. Because when you're in the killing business being unable to kill your target instantly is fatal.
10 hours passed in the blink of an eye and after stepping foot inside the city, Insania hurriedly logged out.
