Melchior couldn't help but burst into a small grin from the onslaught of compliments. No matter what happened, most people would still feel a slight sense of joy from the validation.
A few seconds later, Konnor stepped forward as well with a satisfied expression on his face. The rest of the soldiers stepped back for a second to let the large soldier speak.
