Chapter 2 - A Summon Like No Other Pt.2

"These Astral Criminals will most likely be the ones invading your towers. If this game does not exist your world and many others will crumble."

Woman raised her hand to speak like the man before her did.

"You may speak Jeanne." The God said.

Jeanne lowered her hand as she vocalized her thoughts. "In the Bible, God is said to have servants known as Angels. Some angels are suppose to oppose evil spirits and demons. So are you not our God?"

"Not exactly, long ago the gods created their own realms consisting of their own people. While the records are edited depending on the reality you belong to, the Bible you referred to is a book of tales of what occured in their realm. I am the overseer of all neutral worlds. Worlds that do not belong to any god. That is why you humans must defend your own world."

"So he truly exist...GOD EXIST!!"

"Ah shit....the christian is hyped up now." Jacob, a D1 college football player sighed and shook his head.

The groups from different worlds were conforming to what's going to be their new life. Questions are asked and although the God said they were low on time, they answered any questions he deemed relevant.

But this was only for the sum that wanted answers. They were given the decision to be granted their abilities and weapons then be sent own their way to their respective tower or they may ask any question relevant to their transportation to these tower or the game itself.

As time passed, all questions were asked thus the chosen mortals were sent on their merry way. All except one. "So do these towers vary from person to person or are they all identical just with parallel factors?"

"This mortal ask far too many questions. But I expected nothing less from one who loves philosophy." The God thought.

"Each tower is different than the last. However, many monsters and landmasses may have their similarities. It is the same with the culture of many intelligent species."

"Hmm, then would I be wrong to suspect the monsters in modern video games such as goblins, dragons, variations of wolves, are going to be within these towers?"

More than questions, it was like a gamer asking developer about the content within a game in production. It was akin to a conversation/questionnaire. He went on and on, looking for information on different aspects of this game.

"..." The man sat there in thought.

"Are there any other questions you have for me?"

"Yes, may I get a tutorial?" The man wondered.

"...Excuse me?" The god's head tilts to the left.

"I'd like to run a tutorial to get use to my abilities, fighting, and the danger I may be facing."

The God contemplated. "I was going to place them in an area that is easily adaptable. Something close to a tutorial and let them learn the rest by themselves. But a tutorial for this guy isn't anything special."

"A trial before the game huh? I have a better idea." The God proposed an offer. "How about I grant you an adaptable tutorial like system in replacement of two of your abilities along with you starting off with the highest difficulty."

"...." The man was silent. Stuck in his train of thought. "This sounds like a set up however, I should extract further details from this ''God'' before I make my decision."

"What are the pros and cons for starting off on the highest difficulty level?" He asked.

"The pros and cons? I will list them for you here." He raises his hand and lowers it. What follows is a list of the thing he asked for.

Pros: Greater Experience, Better Rewards, Larger World

Cons: Stronger Mobs, Death % increases, Experience From Fights Are Participation Dependent

"And here is what the Adaptable Tutorial System shall do for you."

A.T.S(Adaptable Tutorial System)

"This system creates introductions and lessons for the user to follow. It teaches the basics of whatever is chosen. For each lesson completed, a reward shall be given graded from D to S by the user's efficiency."

"The cons for difficulty are a lot less to deal with than what I initially thought."

There's certain games that takes away the ability for the character to grow in stats when playing on the highest difficulty. Or even decrease the growth rate of the player by having them only gain experience by fighting boases. So it was a relief for the man to know that rules akin to those weren't applicable here.

"That being said...isn't the highest difficulty the best option?"

He steps out his train of thought again. "I'd like to see the three abilities I'd get if I do not accept the tutorial system."

The god smiles "Sure thing." In front of him was a pop up screen, showing him the three abilities he'd get.

1st Ability, Mega Punch: Every 20th attack will always be 50x stronger than your original attack power.

2nd Abilities, Geographic Lens: With these eyes of yours, the world is seen. You can manifest maps of the terrain by scoping out the area.

3rd, Cursed Form: All touched by your palms will be cursed. The energy within your body is filled witj yin energy. All that touches the palm of your hand will be infected by said energy.

"Hm, I'll accept that offer but I will be keeping my ability Cursed Form."
