Chapter 272 - Extra Chapter 4

Gambit, the charming card-thrower of the X-Men, found himself caught off guard one night. While exploring the mansion, he saw Rogue and Magneto together in a way that shocked him. It was clear they had a deep and intimate connection.

Days later, Gambit confronted Rogue in the mansion's library, a place that had once been their sanctuary. Rogue looked up from a book she was reading, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of apprehension and defiance.

"Remy," she said softly, "I didn't expect you to come here."

Gambit's face was a mask of controlled anger. "I seen you with Magneto." he said, his voice low but edged with hurt. "What's goin' on, Rogue? Why him?"

Rogue's expression turned solemn as she closed her book. "Remy, there's somethin' you gotta understand. It ain't what it seems. It's… complicated."

Gambit's eyes narrowed. "Complicated? How? You and him—"

"It's not just physical, Remy. It's deeper than that. The connection I have with him… it's something only he can touch." Rogue said, her voice trembling with raw emotion.

Gambit felt a pang in his chest, but he struggled to keep his composure. "So, what does that mean for us? You want me to just walk away?"

Rogue's eyes were filled with tears as she shook her head. "No, Remy. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. But what I have with Magneto, it's something I can't explain, something you can't compete with."

Gambit's heart ached, but he nodded slowly, understanding the weight of her words. "I ain't here to fight ya, Rogue. I just needed to know where I stand."

He turned to leave, but Rogue's voice stopped him. "Remy, I—"

Gambit looked back at her. "He's going to break your heart," he said. "I know it."

Rogue's tears welled up, but she held his gaze firmly. "Maybe so, Remy. But sometimes I gotta be a fool, as desperate I was."

Gambit just looked at her, then said, "Ya remember this, Rogue—no matter what happens, I'm still here. I'll always care."

Suddenly the scene abruptly shifted from the emotional confrontation between Gambit and Rogue to a more surreal setting: Deadpool, casually lounging in a chair with a bowl of popcorn, watched the scene unfold on a TV screen. Tears streamed down his mask as he munched on the popcorn, clearly moved by Gambit's heartbreak.

"Poor Remy," Deadpool sniffled dramatically, "He got cuckolded by some old guy." He sighed, leaning back in his chair. "Rogue is really a stupid woman. How could she not see how sexy Remy is? I mean, look at his face! His body! Oh my god, he looks like Channing Tatum back in his young days."

Deadpool turned to the camera with a knowing look, as if inviting the audience to share in his exasperation. "Seriously though, Remy's got it going on. But hey, Rogue's lost her marbles if she can't see that."

Just as Deadpool was about to make another cheeky comment, the scene was interrupted by a loud, frustrated voice off-screen. "Haysst! I already said no Deadpool allowed in my house!!!"
