Chapter 2 - Reincarnation

In a room adorned with luxurious furniture, a woman and a baby lay upon a big bed that could easily accommodate five people. The room was enveloped in darkness and silence, but this silent was broken by a gentle knock on the door. Stirring from her slumber, the woman on the bed began to move, uttering softly, "Come in, Jasmine," without the need to open her eyes.

In response to the woman's invitation, a young maid named Jasmine entered the room. She was dressed impeccably in her maid's attire. Making her way directly to the curtains, Jasmine began to draw them open, allowing the warm sunlight to flood the room.

With the curtains now parted, the woman slowly began to rouse from her sleep. Rubbing her eyes and stifling a yawn, she acknowledged Jasmine's presence. "Good morning, Lady Snow. I hope you had a restful sleep," Jasmine greeted her.

Lady Snow simply nodded in response. "Yes, everything is alright. Ethan is as silent as ever; he didn't cry or fuss," she remarked, referring to her son. As she spoke of Ethan, her gaze shifted towards him, observing how he too began to wake up.

As Ethan slowly woke up, something changed, unnoticed by the two women. Ethan himself had changed, his once black eyes had darkened, and now he could remember everything about his past life. Tears welled up in his eyes.

Snow White, Ethan's mother, and Jasmine, Snow's maid, heard him cry for the first time in two days. They felt relieved that he was making some noises and wasn't as silent as he had been for the last two days. They had worried that something might be wrong with him, despite reassurances from the family doctor that his body was fine.

For about thirty minutes, Ethan cried in his mother's arms. Then, he began to think to himself, ´So I really died? I reincarnated? So, was he really a god? This bastard! Damn it!´ As he began to grasp the situation, his grief morphed into anger.

Once comforted by his mother and having stopped crying, Ethan's mother, Snow, turned to Jasmine with a smug smile. "See, he isn't ill, he's just a little late. Anyway, why did you wake us up so early in the morning? I have nothing to attend or people to meet."

In a neutral tone, Jasmine replied, "Lady Snow, it's winter; the time has changed. It's already 9 am. It's nearly breakfast time."

Hearing this, Snow clicked her tongue and then said, "Okay, I'll forgive you this time if you make some good pancakes."

Jasmine simply nodded in response.

As Snow began to stir, she decided to change into something more appealing. At that moment, as Ethan shifted and his thoughts momentarily halted, he gazed upon the woman who had given birth to him in this life.

Now able to understand the language they spoke, Ethan observed that the woman who had carried him had long snow-white hair and beautiful dark green eyes. Her face seemed to belong to someone in their mid-twenties, and her skin resembled white jade—truly a figure worthy of being called a fairy.

Surprised by his birth mother's appearance, Ethan then turned his attention to the other person in the room, Jasmine, as he had heard her name being mentioned. She had long silver hair, a pair of dark green eyes, and a face that appeared to be in her early twenties.

Jasmine who took a few clothes for the two of them,Ethans Birtht Mother then began to dress him and herself. Once they had finished dressing, they all donned simple white shirts and black pants, and as Jasmine waited before the door for them they left the bedroom and entered the floor.

As Snow and Jasmine began to walk, Ethan, who witnessing another world for the first time with other another type of architecture was fascinated. The expansive floor seemed to stretch endlessly, adorned with decorations exuding opulence, as if declaring, "I'm rich." On the end of the floor, there lay an even larger room then their bedroom resembling a grand living space.

In this living room, instead of furniture, there were numerous dining tables, yet Ethan couldn't see anyone else present besides themselves. However, Ethan paid little attention to this, feeling a pang of hunger. Yet, at that moment, he realized something—he was currently a baby, which meant he had no teeth to eat. And if his memory served him correctly, babies only consumed their mother's milk.

At this realization, Ethan once again felt a surge of frustration and embarrassment, muttering to himself, ´I will remember this!´

As if hearing his silent plea to avoid drinking milk directly from his mother, Jasmine intervened. "Lady Snow, please have a seat. The food for you and the young Master will be here momentarily." Snow simply nodded and took a seat at the nearest table.

True to her word, the moment Snow settled at the table with Ethan on her lap, food materialized seemingly out of thin air.

On the table were a few pancakes, as Snow had ordered, and a bottle of milk clearly intended for Ethan. Without hesitation, Snow picked up the milk bottle and brought it near Ethan's mouth, prompting him to drink without giving him the chance to being suprised at the appeared food out of nothing.

After taking a few sips of milk, Ethan tapped the bottle twice, signaling to his birth mother that he no longer wanted it. She obliged, setting the bottle aside, and began to eat her breakfast without the questioning how Ethan knew how to signifile things.

As his birth mother paid little attention to him, Ethan, now fully aware of his memories, found a moment to gather his thoughts and began to think. ´Okay, even though this doesn't seem real, and according to my memories, I was killed by these bastards, let's forget about that for now. Let's just focus on my current situation,´ he thought to himself.

After taking a few calming breaths, he continued, ´So I'm reincarnated, like those novels I read in the past. Let's put logic aside for a moment; if this bastard is really a god, then he can easily do something like this, and I can't comprehend it. But what do those novels usually entail? They usually involve some kind of cheat skill, a golden finger, or a system. So, if this bastard mentioned doing something for entertainment with me, then my reincarnation must be entertaining enough for him.´

Letting out a sigh out of frustration for his current situation, Ethan delved deeper into his thoughts. ´So, maybe I have some kind of cheat, like infinite mana or a golden body? Hmm... well, I don't know. I'll have to test it out in the future. Okay, next, a golden finger. Um, Grandpa or Grandma..., can you hear me...? Hello...? No? Well, that's kind of embarrassing, but it means nobody has heard it. Oh well, it doesn't matter. Now, a system. What should I say? Um, System open! No? Then maybe ,System, I command you to open! Haaa Still nothing. Okay, last try! Status!´

As Ethan uttered the word "Status" in his mind, something manifested before him—a blue screen appeared. As he began to read it, his expression shifted from curiosity and interest to absolute anger and madness. Finishing reading his status, he screamed in his mind, ´I WILL FUCKING FIND YOU AND FUCKING KILL YOU. Just wait, you pathetic god! I swear that I will use this life with only one single goal: to kill you.´

Author:

Hey, I hope you enjoyed the first two chapters that I released. Even though I have some problems with the story writing, I must say I have only written one other story with 30 chapters, and, well, I dropped it. It had too many problems with the story, maybe I'll write it another time. But let's stop talking about a novel that nobody wants to talk about and let's talk about this novel.

First of all, this novel is about revenge and how the protagonist wants to kill the god. Since he doesn't know what a god is, he is trying all things to kill him, even if the things he does sound laughable or funny. Well, telling more is a spoiler, so let's wait and just enjoy it! Oh, and before I forget, I'll try to release one chapter a day, maybe two. And an extra character info and the power system will come soon!
