"Akanni, you know what to do," Rah says nodding at the tiger who nods
Akanni stepped forward, he quickly started digging at a fast pace
In an instant, the dirt was dug up as Akanni dusted his hands off
Rah nodded at Akanni to show his appreciation as Looked down and saw two crates making him smirk pulling them up by himself
He then opened the crates, seeing exactly what was promised to them
'Seems trustworthy so far…now to distribute them'
He saw everyone confused wondering how those crates got there
"Out of everyone here…how many know how to use a sword?"
Looking around about 5 people raised their hands making him nod reaching into the crate and pulled out 5 swords giving them to the people
Rah kept one sword for himself as he passed out the daggers to random people
"Any of you guys archers?" Rah asks hopefully as Three People raise their hands making him sigh
"Ok, Listen here…tomorrow is the day we risk our lives for our freedom," Rah says looking at his fellow slaves
"Most of us were taken from our family…some of us already started a family when we were taken," Rah says closing his eyes remembering his mother's dying face
"I still remember clearly when they killed my mother…I know everyone here remembers the death of their loved one" Rah opens his eyes with a newfound ferocity
"It is for that reason we will take back our lives and make our destiny our own…not determined by anyone else"
"So tonight rest, because tomorrow we fight," Rah says as everyone starts cheering making him smile because everyone is in a better mood
It was now nighttime, and everyone except Akanni and Rah was asleep in their cells. The flickering torchlight cast long shadows on the stone walls, and the cool mountain air seeped through the cracks in the ancient structure. The two were talking quietly, trying not to wake the others.
"Do you think we can do this, Akanni? I know you and I can hold our own, but most of the people here were just regular people without fighting skills," Rah whispered, his voice tinged with doubt.
"I get what you mean, but it's all about willpower that will make someone strong enough. If they didn't have the will…then all of this would be unnecessary," Akanni replied, his tone steady and reassuring. He looked at the sleeping people, their faces showing a rare moment of peace.
Rah sighed, running a hand through his hair. "But…some people are too scared for this, Akanni. Some people's bodies differ from their hearts and minds."
Akanni nodded, understanding the weight of Rah's concern. "I saw it the night my village fell…the mightiest warrior faltered at the sight of their brethren falling, their wives assaulted, their children beaten. It was the first time I truly understood fear."
Rah's eyes darkened with the memory of his loss. "I understand that feeling, but for me, rage overtook me and guided me that night…Rah," Akanni said, his voice softening.
"Yeah?" Rah asked curiously, looking at Akanni, sensing that his friend was about to share something significant.
"A while back…there was a rumor of a slave breaking out, going around freeing other slaves. Rumor has it he died, but…they called him 'The First Sun of Liberation.'"
Hearing that name, Rah quietly smiled as he spoke. "What does that have to do with me…you want me to become the Second Sun?"
"No," Akanni said seriously, his eyes locking onto Rah's. "Right now the world needs something more than liberation, Rah. It needs a revolution to end all revolutions to end this unfairness."
"It needs one last revolution…Rah, ever since we met, I've noticed your willpower surpasses anyone I've ever met, so I think you can accomplish this task."
Rah leaned back against the cold stone wall, contemplating Akanni's words. The silence between them was heavy, filled with the weight of their shared history and the enormity of the task ahead.
"So, Rah…become 'The Last Sun of Revolution,'" Akanni urged, his voice filled with conviction.
"The Last Sun of Revolution, huh? I like the sound of that, my friend," Rah said smiling at Akanni "But do you really think the world is ready for such a change?"
Akanni's gaze was unwavering. "The world is never ready for change, Rah. It must be forced to confront its injustices, to acknowledge its wrongdoings. And we, we will be the ones to force that change."
Rah took a deep breath, feeling the weight of responsibility settle on his shoulders. "I guess it's set. I'll light the fire in every oppressed person's soul…The world won't know what hit it."
Akanni's eyes shone with pride. "We will be the spark that ignites the flames of revolution. Together, we will change the world."
As the two continued their watch over the sleeping group, the gravity of their mission settled heavily in their hearts. The torchlight flickered, casting their faces in sharp relief, showing the determination etched into their face. Rah and Akanni knew that the path ahead was full of danger, but they also knew that their cause was just and their will unbreakable.
"Rah, no matter what happens tomorrow, know that I believe in you. We all do. You are more than a leader to us—you are our hope…you are our friend," Akanni said softly, placing a hand on Rah's shoulder.
Rah felt a surge of emotion at Akanni's words. "Thank you, Akanni. I won't let you down. I won't let any of you down."
The two men sat in silence, drawing strength from each other's presence. The night was long, but they were ready. Ready to face whatever came their way, ready to fight for their freedom, ready to change the world
Somewhere else in the Kingdom of Niac
*Crackle* *Crackle* *Boom*
What we see now is bloodshed all over with bodies fallen all over the place
"Stupid Rebels…was that all you had?…really?!" A lady with black Hair and crazy blue eyes that seemed to crackle with electricity
The lady's sword crackled with Lightning as she held it to someone's neck who seemed to be dead
The lady was smiling wickedly at the slaughter she just committed
Just then one of the soldiers under her command ran up to her
"Lady Isdeath!!" The Soldier stumbled to her
"What is it?" She asks with a side glare wiping the blood off her face
"The King has given us new orders!" The soldier says giving her a piece of paper
"The King? Don't kid yourself" She says taking and reading the letter
"Tell everyone to get ready to ride out!" She says with an Authoritative voice
"Where to?" The Soldier asks
"Hercules Slave Mine"
