Chapter 79 - 66. Primarch of Fire

After I hear the explosion from Paradise Lost, I don't know what happened to Sandalphon, nor do I care about what is going to happen.

My head is spinning so much that I collapse to the ground, clutching my head tightly.

It feels like something is pressing down on my head and forcing something into my brain—I don't even know how to describe it properly.

"Hey, are you okay!?" Stan runs over to me and tries to check my condition.

I want to tell him not to come any closer because I don't know why this is happening and I don't want anyone else to get hurt, but unfortunately I can't speak at all because of the pain.

At this point, I'd prefer to just lose control instead of feeling this dizziness.

But what I don't know is that my wings keep changing repeatedly between pure white and dark.

"Damn, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do! I don't know how your race works!" Stan looks confused because earlier, he helped the unconscious woman by giving her his unique blood.

But that was only to recover her strength and can't actually heal wounds, so he can't use it here.

While Stan is still confused, I'm still trying to get rid of this dizziness, either by stopping my power or retracting my wings.

But nothing works until I hear a voice that sounds like mine, "[Don't hold it]" and then Stan, who's checking my condition, senses something approaching.

"!?" He quickly looks up to the sky, where he felt it, and sees a golden ray of light appearing from on top of the sky, heading toward them.

Stan quickly tries to move me so we can both avoid the laser because he doesn't know what will happen if we're hit.

"Move aside," I say to Stan, but my voice sounds slightly different from before, and then I push him away.

The Ray of Light then hits me, enveloping my entire body and my 12 wings in golden light.

"!?" I look confused as I sees my body enveloped in a golden light, but at least the dizziness I feel starts to slowly lessen.

Finally, the dizziness disappears completely, and I notice that my body feels different from before.

The golden light surrounding my body fades, allowing me to stand up again and start examining my hands.

"This feeling... This is different from the usual feeling when I'm using my power."

Usually, when I use my power, I can feel it trying to influence md and change my nature.

But this time, it's far different — everything is just silent. I don't need to hold back my energy to avoid losing control.

Everything feels calm...

"[Don't be too happy, that's only temporary until we meet.]" I hear a voice in my mind, sounding like mine and like Lucilius, but unlike Lucilius, this one doesn't have an egoistic tone.

There's only one answer I can think of: "Are you the Lucifer of this world?"

"[...I see. So you know who I am?]" The voice says again, making me look up to the sky.

"Yes, Supreme Primarch. Alongside the reason as to why Sandalphon is aggrieved and wants to destroy the world with Pandemonium."

"[...You truly are a unique existence, not only having my creator Lucilius's power but also my power inside your body and other Primal Beasts too.]"

"What do you mean? Why is that unique?"

I don't hear a response from Lucifer for a moment before I finally hear his voice again.

"[That's almost impossible for anyone because their body would be filled with so many different energies—from my creator, my energy, and then other Primal Beasts... I'm amazed you haven't overloaded at this point.]"

Hearing that shocks me because I've never heard of anything like this happening in the game, like Lyria overloading or something!

"[And the reason for your dizziness is because of Lucilius' and my powers are in conflict to gain control every time you use your power.]"

Huh? That's weird. But that's never happened before; the only thing that happened is me losing control, not this weird dizziness.

"That's never happened to me before..." I mutter, trying to think about why I suddenly feel this way.

"[From my observation, my power inside you started to become more active when you absorbed Raphael's power, so that's probably why you suddenly felt that.]"

"What!? So is there a way to fix this?" I don't want to keep feeling dizzy every time I use this power.

"[...I'm going to try to help you after I'm done with Pandemonium. So for now, please take care of her.]" After that, I can feel the energy entering my body completely fade away.

"Wait!? Hello? Lucifer? Who's 'her'!?"

But I don't hear any response from Lucifer, which makes me sigh. "*Sigh*. Well, I'll ask him when we meet."

"Hey, are you okay? You've been talking to the sky by yourself since earlier." I hear Stan's voice, sounding concerned.

"Hmm? Yeah, I'm fine. There was someone talking to me." I say, then turn to look at Michael, who's still lying on the ground.

I can see that her body is full of wounds and she's still unconscious, so I start walking toward her.

Stan, seeing me approaching Michael, just lets me, sensing that I didn't have any ill intentions.

Besides, I was the one who took down the hooded figure earlier and helped them.

Once I'm beside Michael, I kneel down and place my hand on her body. "Well, here goes nothing." I say, glancing back at my 12 pure white wings.

I need to make sure I don't absorb Michael's power like I did with Raphael's...

"Wake up, Michael."

Michael's body immediately gets enveloped in a golden aura from my wings, and the aura begins to heal the wounds on her body.

After a few moments, the golden light that is enveloping her disappears, and I can see her eyes start to move, indicating that she is about to wake up.

Michael opens her eyes, and I can see her red-colored eyes looking around. "Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there," I say, pointing toward a confused Stan.

"Hah!? I'm not a thief!!!"

"What...?" Michael says, not understanding what I just told her.

But when she looks at me, curious about who said such a strange thing, I see her eyes widen in shock.

"Supreme Primarch!?" Michael quickly stands up and kneels before me.

"I sincerely apologize for letting you see me in this state!" Michael says firmly, looking down.

Hahhhh... I knew this would happen when she saw me and my wings... "Michael, stand up. I'm not the Supreme Primarch you're talking about."

I then extend my hand toward Michael, who is still kneeling, to help her stand up. "What? No, you're the Supreme Primarch. I can't mistake your aura for anyone else's." Michael insists, still convinced that I am her Supreme Primarch.

"I'm not your Supreme Primarch, Michael. Let me explain it to you." After a lengthy explanation, she finally understands that I am not her Supreme Primarch.

Michael takes my hand to help her stand. "I see, so you're the Supreme Primarch from another timeline."

"...Yeah, sure, let's go with that. I don't mind." I reply, giving up at this point.

"Another timeline? That's really cool! This is the first time I've heard of that! I wonder if in another timeline, Aliza and I are still dating." Stan says to himself, thinking aloud.

I just ignore what Stan says because I actually feel bad for Aliza for dating someone like him. The general consensus for those who play Granblue Fantasy agrees that Aliza is wasted on Stan...

"What about the hooded figure who attacked me? Did they run away?" Michael asks me.

"Hmm... I don't know, actually. After using Paradise Lost, something happened, and I lost track of Sandalphon." I say, then glance toward where Sandalphon was earlier.

The area is completely destroyed, with many craters from the previous Paradise Lost attack, so I'm a bit worried about Sandalphon's fate. If Sandalphon is dead, then this timeline won't have anyone to fight Lucilius and Belial, so I can't kill him...

"Let me check on Sandalphon." I say, preparing to fly in the direction where Sandalphon was last seen.

"I'm sorry I can't follow you because I don't have my wings, but I'll catch up with you later." Michael says to me, glancing at her back where her wings used to be.

"Sure, just take your time." I reply, then fly off, leaving them behind.

Now, I just need to find Sandalphon and make sure he's not dead from my attack.

It doesn't take long for me to find Sandalphon as the numerous craters made my search very easy.

I spot Sandalphon lying unconscious in one of the craters, which makes me panic a little. So I quickly fly toward him.

"Please don't die, please don't die..." I really hope he isn't dead because if he is, I don't know what Lucifer will do to me. And how will Gran and the others fight Satan, Belial, and Lucilius?

I land beside him and see that his body is covered in wounds, his wings are missing from his back, and the robe he's wearing is badly damaged.

"Hey, Sandalphon, don't die—the plot still needs you." I say, moving his body to face upward.

The moment I do that, I see his cute, small androgynous face; his lithe, if a bit curvaceous body; and... his ample breasts...? Wait, what?

"What the hell happened!?" The Sandalphon I'm seeing isn't the Sandalphon from the game — the handsome guy obsessed with coffee.

The Sandalphon in front of me is a woman, almost as tall as Djeeta, who's rather cute to boot.
