I: Could you both introduce yourself?:
Arcy: "My name is Arcy, a seasoned novelist with a passion for crafting compelling stories. Over the years, I've had the privilege of delving into various genres and exploring the nuances of character development and plot dynamics. My work often revolves around Fantasy and drama. I'm thrilled at the idea of contributing my storytelling skills to Roses Of Betrayal and creating engaging narratives for my audience, however please do understand that English is not my first native language and the language I tried to follow was from the US."
Loverlyu: "Of course! My name is Lynn but people often call me Loverlyu. Throughout my experience, I've had the pleasure of working closely with my friend Arcy, helping them navigate the novel and achieve success. My role involves strategic planning, project coordination, etc. I'm excited about the opportunity to bring my managerial expertise to Rose Of Betrayal, supporting and promoting the incredible work of our team on this novel."

Arcy: "Yeaaahhhh I just did not want anyone else as my manager since I am very stubborn in her eyes. Did you know she calls me Villain Arc to make fun of my name? It's funny sometimes."
Questions over the Novel
I: How did you come up with the title and concept?:
Arcy: "At first we wanted to go with The Missing Rose Petal (TMRP) but we later on changed it to Roses of Betrayal because I did not like the first title, it felt too long. My manager and I got into an awkward situation at some point."
I : When did you realise that you wanted to make a story and write about it?:
Arcy: "This is quite embarrassing but I realised when I was making a Gacha Club character (and yes I used to do gacha…) and that I wanted to make a more in-depth storyline."
I : What are your favourite books to read?:
Arcy: "If I really had to choose I would pick Tian Guan Ci fu and (Heaven Official's Blessing) and Ren Zha Fanpai Zijiu Xitong (The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System.)"
I : What's the most surprising thing you learned while writing your books?
Arcy: "I would probably say how much time and focus you must need to write without giving up."
I : How do you find the time to write? *
Arcy: "At first I was writing whenever I wanted to but... after Lynn started to see at what times I would write she got more strict with me and told me to write whenever I came out of school or when I had free time after learning for my exams."
I : What is the most difficult part of writing a book?
Arcy: "The moment when you have to start to write a plot, it is not for the weak that is all I can legally say."
I : Who is your most liked character and most hated?
Arcy: "My most favourite is Aire because of how I wrote his background story, how he was the way he came to be and his secrets. He is a character not many could understand if you only look at his bad sides, however if you slowly start to understand what made him react like this, he is not a bad person. But… Erm… Is it wrong for me to say that I hate Amara the most? It is not because she is the main character but it is because she was the most difficult one to write about, it gave me a headache at some point… But if i had to rank it with personalities and such I would say either Kayden or Rhea.

Arcy: "Mine is on April 23rd."

I : Who is the main character and love interest?
Arcy: "The Main character is Amara and the Male Lead is Kyan/Husani."
I: What is their dynamic?
Arcy: "I feel like it is too early to expose the relationship status between the two...TT"
I: Who Is the target audience?
Arcy: "This question is quite hard to answer in a way? Because I don't want just people from one genre to read this multiple!"
I: Are there any scenes you're proud of?
Arcy: "The scene I am most proud of is when Amara and Kyan are walking off to her birthday banquet, not only does it gives me butterflies in a way it reminds me of a past relationship. I regret it tho!! :D"
I : What year does the story take place?
Arcy: "325 When I told my manager she was like;
325 B.C.!? Arcy there was nothing at that time!
Then I had to explain to her that I meant 'after Christ'…"
Loverlyu: "The misunderstanding was logical okay.."
I : What was the plot or main idea behind everything? *
Arcy: "Honestly I wanted kill off Imani as a joke because I really loved this Anime called Yona of the Dawn and I wrote the VA script about it after a long time I was like: 'What if I make a storyline about this and give Amara more trauma than her hands could handle?' At first I wasn't sure since my normal characters would have a simple background story but this time I felt like making it bigger and more interesting for me and others. At first I wanted to make a GCMM (Gacha Club Mini Movie) with voice actors but later on while I was writing I noticed I did not want to do it in that way. Instead I started writing a novel with much support from not only my friends but also family."
I : How do the Mana Cores and Powers work in the novel?
Arcy:I am happy to give you a simplified explanation!
Mana Core:
- Significance: Once-in-a-lifetime magical event during formative years, linking an individual to the world's magical energy.
- Creation: Formed during a coming-of-age ceremony, guided by mages or mystical beings.
- Connection: Grants the ability to harness magical energies for various purposes based on affinity.
- Consequences: Rare chance of death if the Mana Core is lost, or more commonly, impairment of senses.
Using Dark Magic for Healing:
- Forbidden Practice: Healing the Mana Core with Dark Magic is taboo and desperate.
- Psychological Consequences: Haunting dreams, cognitive strain, and desires for an end to suffering.
- Physical Manifestations: Internal darkness consuming the individual, leading to deteriorating well-being.
- Intervention by Kyan: Powerful creature, Kyan, changes side effects, reducing psychological burden.
Narrative Implications:
- Moral Dilemmas: Characters face moral choices when using Dark Magic, balancing benefits with suffering.
- Kyan's Legacy: Kyan's intervention adds complexity to the magical system, influencing character beliefs and conflicts.

I : Who is Amara's father?
Amara: "I wish I knew but he ran away before I could catch him…"
I : How does the family system work in Celestia?
Arcy: "All the Celestial Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses are seen as families but they're technically not since they're not blood related but since they have a royalty title (This also depends on their past lives!!) the Celestial Ones - Officials and believers see them as family. Sorry if it is still hard to understand, I'll try to find something more clear in the near future!"
I : Will the story have a happy ending?
Arcy: "Honestly I am still thinking about it but I am not sure!"
I : Why is Amara trying to figure out who she is?
Arcy: "If you would lose all your memories and only have the memory of what you did before you left the room you stayed at least for 200 years,

I : How did you manage to win over your friend Loveyu, to be your manager?:
Arcy: "Yeaaahhhh I went through a lot struggle at first but I could not let her say no… I didn't want anyone else as my manager since I am very stubborn in her eyes. Did you know she calls me Villain Arc to make fun of my name? It's funny sometimes."
Loverlyu: "BECAUSE SHE IS. Guys I swear, I love working with her but my Celestials.. If I got one silver mark for the amount of times she refused my ideas, I'd no longer be a manager and live in a mansion."
Arcy: "…What is that supposed to mean!?"

I am not sure if I will continue this year or the next but it will update probably around the last quarter of the year. I will try to find artist and fix my spelling mistakes troughout these months of not posting the chapters, I am already writing chapter 25 as I am writing this (It's May 15Th 2024, 1:49 AM while I am writing this), I am trying to reach 30-45 so I can updates AT LEAST 15 chapters. Ideas can be submitted trough comments and dms!! Please tell me what you want to see in the future so I can mix it up or if you have any ships that you'd like to come true, don't be shy to tell me!!
