Amara looked around to see where she was, she was somewhere in a castle that was not her own. All that she could remember is what had happened before she had touched the red light, she decided to explore everything before anything serious were to happen.
It was daytime and she was in a dark office that she doesn't know who it is. There was a window near the desk and she decided to look outside. She saw two little kids play games with each other and couldn't help but come closer towards them, by every step she took the more her heart ached. She was confused on why this feeling was coming out so easily. When she looked at one of those kids it was like she was looking into her reflection. She couldn't be helped but be reminded of painful memories that started to crawl back to her. She suddenly was the child that was before her a couple seconds ago.
"Please…" Her voice trembled with desperation to be saved, she was barely holding on to what's reality and what's not. The pain was full of agony and discomfort and she was struggling to stand up from the position she was in. Suddenly blood started to stream down from her knees and begged for help from people who were outside.
"Someone… Please don't leave me.. Again." The small child's voice echoed through the hallways of the imperial castle, Aire who was watching from the small gap in the door covered his mouth out of shock not knowing what to do. It was his first time seeing Amara being disciplined, without any other thought he started to run away from the situation. He did not know how to help out the crying Amara he described to himself before he had chosen to ignore her cries and pretend he saw nothing. Amara, no… I had witnessed it, it must have been traumatic to see the truth slowly being pushed into light.
Why is this happening to me, it is not as if I had asked someone to open the memories of my true past. If anything I want to forget everything all over again and not remember anything related to Sicilia. I couldn't help but sigh at the scene and continue my walk around these castle walls. Memories of who I had been before death started to flood into me, I am understanding who I am and why I am here now.
Yet my death is something I cannot reach to remember, of how or of who I got murdered by. In reality no human is able to escape death even when they try, it'll forever catch up to them I had thought. The more you avoid death the closer it will come after you and be eaten alive by it. Before I could continue and collect my thoughts I heard a faint voice calling out my name to come near them.
"Amara…" I decided to ignore the voice at first but it started to sound patient by the second the voice got harsher. I still decided to ignore it until it yelled at me. So I couldn't help but decide to see who it was. I was taking my time searching for the voice as it echoed throughout the castle, visions of my pasts started to flow around. The people I loved dearly were all alive again but the moment I try to touch them, the faint away as if they were never truly there. I came in front of my old bedroom and the voice only got louder and louder while calling my name out. "Come inside Amara.." I couldn't stop myself and opened the door. The one who was calling for me was myself..?
I looked completely confused and shocked, how am I in front of myself? "Recognize yourself with the name Amara not just your title, you are nothing else besides that." I said… No, the other me said, this is definitely confusing. Why am I like this, WAS I always like this? "Who are you?" This is actually the worst question I could have asked myself at this moment but truly I just want answers. The other self looked at me surprised and bursted out into laughter, before realising that I was serious. "I am you; therefore, you are me." The answer was too simple for me and weird.
"Then, why do I not remember the me that you claim to be?" The question shocked the other me and made her also start to truly think before speaking again, it's a question neither she nor I could answer. "Archive…" She whispered. "Celestia's Archive. The truth and answer should lie in there, however, be cautious before entering." Why was she not just telling me who I am, why do I have to work to find out everything related to my past.
"It is simple really." The other me said, disturbing my thoughts. "I am you from a different timeline, I am you who has been through everything you have, I also have worked my ass off to understand who I am. If I have to go through that, so should you." Before I could reply I was pushed with force out of my dream making me wake up to me lying down on my bed back on earth.
Yelling voices could be heard from downstairs, the two escortes who had brought me… Amara home, were having a discussion why she felt ill before heading straight home. Truthfully she didn't want to stand up, her head still aches from waking up and the yelling is making it worse but before she could move a figure besides her started to move.
"Don't get up, you'll only get hurt" Chiming sounds could be heard when he stood up to put a towel on her forehead, time felt like it stopped, Amara was suspicious of the man since she could not see his face, it was a complete blur to her. He patted her head to reassure her that he has no idea of evil intent. It made her feel warm and the headache was dying down by the second. She tried her best to reach out to him but he placed her hand back where it first was. "Princess, please wait for my return. Do not search for me, it'll only be safer for the both of us if we meet after months or years." A sigh could be heard from him before turning away.
"It's a shame—I've never been good with orders." Amara said with no hesitation. "I know, if you find me I'll give you a present." The man said he was surprised at her sudden reply; he had thought she would be able to let him go. "Until then please be well… Kyan." He hummed as a response to her words before leaving through the door, after a couple seconds she could hear steps running towards her room.
Quickly opening the door with a big bang, Alijah and Nolan came to see who just left her room after they claimed that the door closed 'on its own'. Amara didn't know how to explain that her old friend from more than 500 years ago came to take a little visit and disappear into thin air. The question of whether she was doing better after she had been out for more than 6 hours came rushing in making it hard to explain that she was fine. She made a waving motion with one of her hands signalling for them to come closer. "Please talk slower." She barely murmured, they were not only speaking loudly but also with high speed making it hard for Amara to understand.
Nolan placed a hand onto her forehead as if he was trying to check her temperature but dropped a note beside her at the same moment. "Your head is still hot, you should rest again. We will check up on you after two hours," He said with a deep sigh before leaning back. "If you're still ill by then we will call the Imperial Celestial Doctors." Shivers run through Amara's spine before laying back down without a single complaint. Nolan left the room but Alijah was still standing next to her bed, a worried expression was shown on his face. He felt bad at the fact that he couldn't do anything when she passed out. "It's okay, you can leave. I'm going to sleep a bit longer.." Amara reassured him, a faint smile appeared on his face.
He couldn't help but feel bad about her situation since it's impossible for a Goddess to get sick. He left the room with questions about her and why she isn't telling him about anything that happened to her and who was in her room. He was sure that he heard a male voice but perhaps it was nothing since they're the only ones in her house.
