By mid-afternoon, the day was transitioning into evening, with the sun losing its warmth and the temperature dropping across the city.
While the weather was becoming more and more enjoyable for a walk in one of the city's parks, Zac stayed at the library where he had gone earlier.
There, close to Eastside High School, he was in an area where there were several large tables with lots of uncomfortable chairs available for those interested in reading in a calm environment.
There weren't many people in this area amidst the many shelves full of books in the library. Nowadays, people aren't so interested in reading, especially paper books.
With today's available technologies, many preferred to read on their smartphones, listening to their favorite stories via audiobooks while going about their routine activities.
Apart from Zac, only 11 other people were occupying chairs in that area that could easily hold 200 people simultaneously.
