When he reached the door of his house, Zac breathed a sigh of relief, finally arriving at a place where he could rest for a while after his hectic and dangerous day.
He saw that his sister was already there and quickly took off his shoes before entering the house.
"Good evening, Amy." He said as he put a smile on his face, but it couldn't hide his tiredness.
"Are you tired, Zac?" Amy smiled at seeing her brother as she sat in front of the television watching the 9 p.m. news.
He nodded at her as he put down his backpack and took off his coat.
As he did so, he heard something that caught his attention.
"Earlier tonight, there was a shooting in Lower South Smis. Kayla Francis is on the scene with our team." The newscaster said before the image on the television changed to show a woman standing in front of a futsal court, next to a high-ranking police officer.
