"Hey, that's not nice, he is a great guy," I disagreed, mainly out of loyalty. Just because he thought lying was a good strategy to pick up hot girls it didn't mean he couldn't get a girlfriend!
He might get a girlfriend, and she'd dump him after finding out the truth. Then he'd learn lying about such things is a bad idea, and he'd be truthful and get a girlfriend for real.
