To Love A River

In a dystopian future where Vampires emerged from the shadows in order to stop humanity from becoming extinct, a young woman with a dark past meets a charismatic stranger. As time goes by Private Love Aikawa of military Unit 4-7, finds that she may not be as human as she first thought. Battling rogue vampires, mutated creatures and her own past, Love works to unravel the mysteries behind the secretive Helsing unit, and tries to become the bridge between humans and vampires in a world filled with discrimination. This novel starts intentionally slow through the exposition and the early world and character building, BUT everything kicks into gear after the turning point in the latter half of Volume 1, and especially Volume 2, where the tone of the novel shifts. So, I hope you stick with it and enjoy the wild ride! I also added some song recommendations along the way to listen to whilst you read certain chapters, I hope this helps boost the experience. Public Spotify playlist titles (all under the name LouLou): TLAR - Book 1 TLAR - Book 2 TLAR - Book 3 TLAR - A Fire in Their Wake This is rated 'No one under 17 permitted' for (very) mature themes, including drug use, SA, LGBTQ+ discrimination, very frequent strong language, violence etc. Please note that no storyline is chosen for shallow shock value, and most are taken from personal experience, and hopefully handled with the care, respect and sensitivity they deserve. Disclaimers are added against any chapter that may cause distress. The Hunter Monarch

In a world reborn from catastrophe, humanity's survival depends on the System. Everyone has a role—Guardian, Sorcerer, Warrior—everyone but Lin Yu. Waking from a decades-long coma with no memories, a botched integration into the System left him a "Zero"—powerless, skill-less, and outcast. His only job is to be a "Pack Mule," hauling loot for hunters who despise him, a living ghost in a world of legendary heroes. His only solace is Su Wan, a kind-hearted Warrior whose simple gesture of holding his hand through the chaotic dimensional Gates is the one thing he can count on. But one act of bitter jealousy shatters everything. A forbidden hex, a broken connection—and Lin Yu is flung not into a familiar, safe Layer, but into a primordial hellscape where death is a certainty. Left to bleed out under an alien sky, something long-dormant and broken within him finally awakens. A glitched screen, a sarcastic voice in his head, and a single, god-like skill: Imitate. He can copy any power he sees, but mastering it will require a trial of blood and fire unlike any other. The price of power is steep, but the cost of weakness is death. To survive, he must not just hunt—he must become the ultimate predator. He entered the Door a Zero. He will return a Monarch. ________________________________________ A Note From the Author This story is a journey of progression and power, blending elements of LitRPG, portal fantasy, and cultivation. Things We Don’t Talk About

——— I woke up to fingers running gently through my hair. At first, I thought I was dreaming, until the lullaby began. Low. Melodic. But wrong. It was that same language I'd heard through the walls, the one that makes your stomach twist and your teeth clench. She sat on the edge of my bed, I can’t see her face; it’s swallowed by the dark. But her hand keeps moving, slow and rhythmic, stroking my hair like she’s lulling something else to sleep. Her eyes are half-closed, swaying as she hums that twisted tune. And then I realize— I forgot to turn on my bedroom light before falling asleep. I kept my breathing slow and shallow, pretending to sleep. limbs screaming to move, to run, but something in me knows: Don’t let her know you’re awake. Don’t move. The singing stops. She sniffles. A choked, trembling sob leaks through her lips. She starts crying quietly, like she’s trying not to be heard. Like she’s afraid. “No...” she whispers, her voice cracking like a child’s. “He still dreams like a child… still soft…” I almost convince myself she’s sleep-talking— Until her hand suddenly tangles in my hair and pulls. I flinched and let out a sharp gasp. "Mama—!" She goes still. Her grip loosened… then shifts. Her fingers wrapped tightly around my trembling arms. Her face inches closer. I can smell her breath,..warm, wrong, too close. Her eyes are wide with terror. Her voice shakes as she hisses: “Don’t say anything." "Don’t say a word anymore.” I was too scared to speak. I couldn't even nod. She held me like that for a long, shuddering moment. Her breath was hot and ragged against my cheek. Her hands were too tight, like if she lets go, I’ll vanish. Her eyes darting around the room. Then, like a switch flipping, she goes completely still. "Mom?" I whispered, so softly it barely made a sound. She was at eye level with me. But she wasn't looking at me. She looked past me. Behind me.... No... no. It’s happening AGAIN. . This is not a safe novel. It's a collection of short, self-contained stories, each chapter unraveling a new descent, a different nightmare. Some stories are brief. Others not so. No heroes. No clean endings. Just answers that should have stayed buried. Read alone if you must. But don't say we didn't warn you. Reader Warning: This series contains psychological horror, disturbing imagery, death, and paranormal themes. Reader discretion is advised. Each chapter is a self-contained story, perfect for short, spine-tingling reads.

Substitute Wife For The Blind CEO

On the day of her wedding, Ivy Quinn vanishes, leaving behind only a note: "I’m sorry, I can't marry a blind man." To protect her son from heartbreak, Elizabeth Winters strikes a desperate deal—Ruby, Ivy’s identical twin, must take her sister’s place at the altar. Trapped by duty and family pressure, Ruby agrees, believing it will only last until Stefan’s eyesight is restored. But from the moment they marry, Stefan senses something is different about his "wife." The woman beside him is nothing like the shallow fiancée he once knew. She’s sharp, resilient, and understands his business in a way Ivy never did. Against all odds, he falls harder than ever for this new version of her. And Ruby? She never expected to fall in love with a man who was never meant to be hers. But just when she finds the courage to tell him the truth, Ivy returns, ready to reclaim the life she abandoned. When Stefan finally opens his eyes, will he see the woman who truly stood by him—or will he be too blind to recognize real love? ****Excerpt**** “By the way, did Ruby come to the wedding?” he asked, catching her off guard since she hadn't expected him to ask her that all of a sudden. Was he already suspecting that it was her and not Ivy? Ruby’s fingers froze on the door handle for just a fraction of a second. It was enough to set off alarms in Stefan's head. “I—uh…” She hesitated, but only briefly. “No. She had work. She couldn’t make it.” Was he suspecting a switch already? What must have set off the alarm in his head? Stefan hummed, tilting his head slightly. “Oh, I see. How is she, then? I hope she's coming to visit one of these days?” Her fingers tightened on the handle, though her voice remained steady. “Yeah. She would, the moment she is chanced and can come.” A slow smirk tugged at the corner of Stefan’s lips, though he kept his expression neutral. Interesting. Very interesting. His wife had just lied to him and he didn't know why. Even though he was blind, he'd find out why soon enough.

Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

The job of slaves were merely to be humiliated and to have as feast once they became a boring creature toward the guests. Arabella with her fierce attitude had only caused more trouble than good, although that helped her from being feasted by the vampires until her body dried up, the vampires also enjoy in harming her, toying with her, hoping to see that one day she would break. However she had caught the wrong attention by those crimson gaze, eventually being the toy of the one and only Mad Crown Prince of Versailles. Eventually this interest only cause her to be more tangled by the twisted and thorny battle for the Throne. Will eventually Bella concede and accept the Mad crown prince? Or will she finally succeed in running away from his grasp. Why her? *** excerpt*** Arabella felt her wrists stung as the shackle around her wrist jingled from the sudden pull. She then met with the icy red eyes that brood down upon her appearance, drinking into every inch of her figure as if he was studying her, even to how those breaths escaped her lips. "I thought we had bonded over the days we have spent together, Bella," he sang, his bright scarlet eyes betraying the singing tone he had used as it had grown so dark and filled with anger. "Yet you left so quickly as soon as I opened the castle gate." Bella gritted her teeth, her eyes glaring at him as she defiantly shook his hand off her face, "I can remind you if you have forgotten it, Your Majesty, I am kept here against my wish." Cassius' smile faded as he stared at her. The sudden pin-drop silence filled her nerves with tension as she found his smileless face the most terrifying sight. She had always known his fearsome side however, it felt scarier tonight. Bella tried to endure how loud her heart had raced against her chest, gathering her breaths together even though it remained shallow in his presence. "So cold," he muttered, his tone trying to tease her, but she could see the raw anger crossing his eyes. "You cannot run from me. Not after what we've done. Not after what you promised." Her heart faltered. She wasn't supposed to stay in this castle; she knew that the royal palace was filled with those vampire monsters who would kill for their desire, simply to have fun. She knew she should never give her heart to any of these monsters, and she had once believed she would never. But that was until Cassius came. She had made that promise because her heart had betrayed her, and she wished that she had never uttered that promise. Promises she had made to him on the call of love. Yet deep within her, a part of her still crave for him. "You're not the first one I have broken my promises with," she gritted her teeth and looked up at him, "I broke my promise the way you broke yours first, isn't it fair?" "Fair? Then was everything a lie, Arabella?" he murmured, his hands cupping her face, forcing her to meet his eyes. "You were mine the moment you entered my castle. And you will be mine until the very end." She gulped as his eyes shone underneath the moonlight, his gaze unforgiving over her, exposing his wild hunger. Her breath caught, her pulse quickening. "A human and a vampire should have never stayed together. They were all right." "I don't care," he spoke through his clenched jaw. "You're going to remain here by my side forever."

Heaven-Tier Villain: Upgrading Heroines with 10X Rebate Sharing System

You know what’s funny? These days, every so-called villain story is the same. Some guy gets betrayed, turns cold, starts playing 5D chess with people’s lives, acts heartless—but deep down, he’s always the victim. Always wearing that mask of pain to justify why he’s screwing others over. It’s become a trend. If he’s not manipulating the heroines, crushing the hero under his boots, and pretending like he’s saving the world by destroying it, people say he’s not a real villain—just another edgy antihero. But me? I don’t see villains like that. To me, a villain is just… a human. A man who’s kind when he chooses to be, cruel when he has to be. He’s not trying to prove anything to the world—he just refuses to be someone else’s puppet. And yeah, sometimes that means breaking rules, breaking trust, even breaking people. This story? It’s not about redemption or pity. It’s about a man the world calls a villain, but who’s just doing what he must to survive in a world that was never fair to begin with. He plays fate like a rigged game. The heroines? Destined for someone else? He rewrites that. Make them love him... because he can. The ‘son of heaven’? He crushes him, not for glory—but to show the heavens he’s not below them. Yeah, he lies. Makes promises he never plans to keep. He takes what he wants, even if it means tearing down everything in his way—including love. But if you look a little closer… beneath all that chaos and manipulation… there’s a heart. Not soft. Not perfect. But real. This isn’t the story of a man trying to be a villain. This is the story of a man who stopped pretending to be one. In this story, the heroines will feel. Really feel. Not just cry on cue or exist to fall in love—they’ll ache, rage, doubt, hope. And the villain? He’ll feel too. But not in the way that makes him soft or fragile. No, his emotions make him terrifying. He doesn’t run from what he feels—he owns it. Wields it. Turns it into fuel. So when he falls for someone, it’s not a weakness—it’s a warning. Because once he decides he wants her, he’ll make sure she falls too. Not by luck. Not by fate. By design. That’s the difference. He doesn’t fall in love hoping to be loved back. He falls in love, and then bends her world until it becomes inevitable. And no, he won’t save her out of pity. He’ll destroy anyone who touches what’s his—but never out of mercy. His pity is saved for people who were too shallow to understand him in the first place. See, this villain isn’t the typical archetype. He’s not cold for the sake of being cold. He’s not pretending to be empty inside. He feels more than anyone else—more than the heroines, more than the so-called heroes. That’s what makes him dangerous. He can love deeper. Hurt harder. Manipulate smarter. And that’s why he has to be just a little more ruthless than them all. Because in a world that demands you hide your heart to survive—he doesn’t hide it. He sharpens it.

I Sell System[BL]

Synopsis 1: What came first? The chicken or the egg? Those questions were one of the most mystical and debated topics to have ever existed. Pulling in the most narrow-minded people to fistfight and barrages of spit lacquering everything around. But that wasn't of any concern to Fu Wen. Such thoughts were lost to him for now. Snagging his attractive neighbor was just one of Fu Wen's accomplishment at the moment. So he was having a great day—no, the PERFECT day, rather. Because not only had he the fruits of six months bore a hot boyfriend. Tonight, he's gonna warm up bed for the first time in his life. But of course, a perfect day doesn't include accidents. But it also does not include that the said perfect day was just a hatched plan to make it seem perfect. For all the imagination he had in mind, Fu Wen never expected death. Synopsis 2: No one knows whether death was truly the end. The beginning. Or simply the void itself. Fu Wen's definition never had any of that. Having been ensnared in the pits of debts, such philosophical outlook was really unneeded. But now that he died, one thing that Fu Wen has proved is that life exist. Magic exist. And to make it even better, local folks here were like morsels. Something to salivate at. The only problem is that he isn't up to par to strike a conversation with them. Synopsis 3: Fu Wen never played games. Well, he did. But working to settle all the unwarranted debts burdening his teenage life to his mid-twenties made him forget the essence of that word. But now that he died, Fu Wen considered that the floating words must be his retribution for not playing games at all. Ah, absurd. Fat chance. A shallow reason and a shallow depiction of life. Fu Wen died and reincarnated for a reason. He didn't know why, but when he finds out what for and with whom, a variety of splendid and macabre words would overflow his mouth. For starters, fuck it. Girthier than Zou Yun's.
