Synopsis
In a universe simmering with tension, Lucien de Montclair was many things but principled was not one of them, some call him a visionary others the most morally reprehensible man and while he is many things he is also irrefutably the inventor of the quantum breacher. A lot of things come with being him including cosmic insight into the universal stage and what he saw wasn't the prettiest sight. A universe embroiled in a cold war where civilizations only struck when victory was assured and the few civilizations interested in in cultural exchange and trade were few and far in between, He had a plan it wasn't pretty hell it wasn't even original but it was the best plan he had and it was a surefire way to create that shell he needed to surround earth. "Montclair could truly be called the greatest inventor of all time were it not for the absolutely ludicrous and inane lengths he would go to to forge heroes and villains as fodder for the alien armada, god only knows what happened to those poor kids in that god forsaken school of his but his insanity might have just been enough to keep this shithole of a planet together" -Commissioner Dumas

Chapter 1 - A Blue Dot In A Beam Of Light

I looked at the last of the ships as they floated down, gaping holes bursting with steam, heat and alien blood that misted into the air. The blood mists travelled towards me getting picked up by the winds it had a faint zinc-like taste to it, the processors in my olfactory systems and taste buds relayed info packets to my auxiliary brains as I parsed through their genetics for interesting data

Interestingly it seemed I had some new updates planned for my Xeno-Lineage Control Group speaking of which here comes hierophant in his little green spandex. He was first-gen, part of a specific control group designed to recreate a superman-like Messiah figure with a saviour complex

I had seven children planted around this world one for each continent sent out in a Morphic-Metal ship that would randomly change in design and look completely unique to the other pods, Each child was sent to couple I had carefully chosen based on calculated projections that didn't mean things didn't go off the rails but a little neuro-refreshing and subtle suggestion will always do the trick.

"Was it all a lie? DOES XENOA EVEN EXIST YOU FRAUD!?" he had tears in his eyes, I could see through his mindscape through the subatomic neuro-link and it was a mess. It was sad seeing his perfectly constructed face be so sad but no matter this just tells me what factors I had missed for this Iteration of the product

Note to self next time use the Tachyon-calibrator to make the planets at an earlier point in time, It'll even allow me to finally start that eugenics program I've been planning

"well kid, I guess the jig is up huh?" I smirked at him he looked completely broken all those late nights staring at the stars hoping his people would come back to get him, to take him away from this world of wet paper, I crossed my arms.

He was the closest I'd gotten to getting a real life superman in both looks and temperament

I flew into him at the speed of what looked like light, I saw as pieces of viscera and organs I won't go into detail about flew away and toward me the blood and smaller droplets being repelled by my energy shield as the blood slicked away in painful slow detail moving nanometers at time

I took some time to really observe his organs and entrails as they floated noting new ideas for a digestive track with functional appendix only this appendix would be an excellent heat regulator for a set of ocular enhancements for my laser vision project

I let time fall back down to its curve as I experienced the feeling of linearity and the viscera was disintegrated with wave of my hands some of it sent to my labs off world

CRA'AK!

A bolt of lightning struck somewhere in the east as I saw something I had hoped I wouldn't see, There he was the God of speed himself, Regalia an experiment and failure at trying to recreate comic book superspeed

Oh don't get me wrong Regalia had speed in spades and "invulnerability" to top it off too the faster he ran, what he didn't have was the latest patch I applied for speedsters for atmospheric protection

And right now he was looking right at me, Thankfully were on battle world my morphic-metal planet I used this to stage most of my battles usually moving this planet to different parts of the galaxy and reshaping it as stage for a battle, filled with hyper-realistic clone civilians to simulate collateral don't worry though the clones aren't sentient in the conventional sense so they don't feel the pain of death, each clone is hooked to the H.V.E so they're more just meatsuits for the AI to inhabit to bring out the best and most realistic acting

The inside of the planet is my ship equipped with atmospheric control units, cloaking units, FTL units, research labs and mostly my headquarters and command center

Regalia took a runners stance as arcs of purple lightning gathered around him and as I disabled his invulnerability

And the world froze for a second before the sky warped I could see him slowly get up as the arcs became more aggressive the air around him broke in barriers continuous shockwaves causing early-onset tinnitus to anyone close by disintegrating the ground forces and a lot of heroes and villains on truce and then

he vanished and my vision blurred as some sort of goop or I guess whatever was left of regalia pushed me back into space

Chunks of him froze off of me as I shook off the viscera that somehow once again got on my nice white cape, I frowned and looked a battle world. Me and regalia had managed to tear a pretty large hole through the atmosphere incinerating all the ground forces and the heroes and villains I had worked so hard to create these last five years in space from the UV rays and the heat from the sun

The armada was destroyed but so were my products, I resolved to make the Second-Generation of superheroes more resistant to UV and Heat and continued to a cosmic stroll to earth. My auxiliary brains and Bio-Gyroscopes corrected my flight path to earth as I dipped into a star and through the other side untouched and unfazed

The greater world was still not aware of aliens and the galactic cold war that was simmering in the void except for maybe the alphabet agencies, Heroes and villains had so far been playing on a galactic scale so it was time to take everything I had mastered here to finally create some superheroes on earth instead of a simulation on battle world or an earthlike alien planet

I glanced at the rapidly shrinking battle world with the Tachyon calibrator to go back to specific points in time and battle world I might just be able to fool the universe into thinking superman is real but beyond I had the labs processing the genes and synthesizing the body for the newest iteration of the Krypton baby Program

It would take a week for the base to go the specific point and coordinates in the galaxy I want it to go, to after which a week to go back 10,000 years, I'll have to keep a watch on the Time line and make sure the changes stick and are correct after which the auxiliary brain will upload the backup pre-retcon memories.

He looked at the rapidly approaching solar system captivated by the blue dot suspended in the beam of light, A sight that made him feel insignificant even in the face of his godlike power, a sight that represented a time when he wasn't aware of the cosmic scale and his role to guide that balance but here he was and all he could think was.

Home.
