"Wait, do you two know each other?", The professor had asked as he looked between them.
Lisa didn't want to be the one to answer so she looked at Richard, waiting for him to answer.
He was smiling when she looked at him, smiling as if she had reacted how exactly he had wanted her to react.
He turned to Professor Lester and nodded his head as he moved closer to Lisa, putting his arm around her when he reached her side.
The professor watched it all with wide eyes.
"Professor Lester, this is my wife, Lisa. Lisa, this is my mentor and teacher, Professor Lester," he introduced, pointing at each one of them at the appropriate time.
Lester looked shocked.
He looked between the two of them, waiting for someone to speak up and tell him that it was a lie.
When neither of them said anything, he specifically looked at Lisa, believing that even if Richard was going to lie to him, Lisa would definitely not lie to him.
