Richard was on his way back from a meeting with some new investors he had been introduced to in earlier in the year.
They had been wanting to invest in the Roger's group for a while but Richard's presence had finally made it possible.
It seemed like he might be staying a while at the office as the investment seemed positively hearty.
It was just the right amount of work he needed to keep himself busy and his head vacant of other thoughts outside work and money.
His only highlight had been receiving the order that his wife had made for him.
It had him smiling and had left him in a good mood for the rest of the day, regardless of what was happening.
A stack of papers suddenly fell on him and he turned to his personal assistant that was seated in front, wondering how the papers had left her hands and came all the way back to assault him.
"Uhhh...I am so sorry sir", she wailed, too loud.
He sighed and closed his eyes.
