"Hey, you!"
Lisa who had stepped into the house while completely oblivious of her surroundings was quite shocked when someone suddenly touched her while speaking to her.
She jumped a bit before she turned around to see that it was Rene.
Rene also looked surprised by Lisa's reaction.
"Geez! What is it? What made you so jumpy?," she inquired as she took a closer look at Lisa.
Lisa sighed softly.
"Nothing. I just wasn't expecting you to appear behind me," she told Rene, as she forced a smile on her face.
Rene stared at her, wondering if she ought to call her out on her lie or leave her be like she obviously wanted.
"Okay then. I'm sorry," she whispered instead and Lisa immediately felt bad.
She took a step forward and pulled Rene closer as she hugged her.
"I'm sorry. I've just had quite a day and I want nothing more than to shower right now and hope the rest of the day goes okay," she confessed partially to Rene.
