The two creatures of malice lunged at him from his sides, both not pulling their punches.
Finrod closed his eyes, the two creatures were suspended in the air, with their claws about to strike down on him. And yet, there was only one thought in his mind.
'Finrod, breathe…' he let out a breath of relief and once the claws came falling, they were stopped by his blades.
His steel sword on his right, a sword construct of mana on his left, criss-crossed to stop the attacks.
He felt no pressure, no force or struggle against the swords that he couldn't handle, he felt calm, calmer than he had ever been, like he was upon a little lake, but beneath all of the calmness was a seething rage, one that threatened to burn the lake up.
He pushed back their attacks and spun his swords, the creatures were wise and swift and they avoided his blows before they could hit them.
