Just above, a few meters away and with its arms held out. Finrod's eyes widened, a jet of what seemed to be acid came from below and a goddess demon zoomed in from above, it was a choking situation.
Yet, he found courage. His rage gave him courage and his rage was unending.
He took his eyes off the demon in front of him, still holding against the stream of acid that came at him.
Everything seemed to slow down, his beating, his movement, the demon's movement. Everything moved so slowly that it was like time paused.
In that distressful situation, Finrod brought up his sword pointed at the statue demon above and a stream of lightning blasted off the blade and struck it, showering the statue and coating it with blue energy.
The rush of electricity sent it back flying and then crashing on the ground.
