"Aren't you supposed to get your full salary today?" Ava asked, wondering. As Kane was standing before her.
"Yes ma'am. But I wasn't sure because of your mood today ma'am," Kane said, looking at her.
"How does my mood affect your salary? Or do I look incapable of paying your salary?" Ava asked, glaring at him.
"Am sorry ma'am. I just needed to get the assurance that I will get money to send to my mom ma'am," Kane said, touching his head.
"Just so you know, I do not joke with my employees wages okay? So your salary will be paid today at the scheduled time," she said, and continued working.
"Alright ma'am. Thank you," Kane appreciated.
"Can you allow me focus now?" she asked, wondering why he was still standing and staring at her.
"One more thing ma'am," Kane said.
"What again?"she asked, wondering.
"Please ma'am. I will need to go see her today. She requested that I come over," Kane said.
