CHAPTER 23: THE CONFRONTATION.
"Look, I suggest you leave now before she comes out okay," Marty suggested to Kane, as he was still seated and had refused leaving.
"I won't leave just like that. I mean I did nothing wrong. Why will someone be this heartless?" Kane asked, wondering.
"You can decide to come back after some time," Marty suggested.
"I will handle this okay, just leave me to it," Kane assured Marty.
"If you say so, but she has never changed her mind on such matters before. Once she's done with you, she never returns back to her words," Marty said, trying to explain to Kane the kind of person he was dealing with.
"I think I know her person by now. So I will handle it trust me," Kane assured Marty.
"Hmm. It's okay then. Please try not to implicate me," Marty warned him, looking helpless, fearing that Ava was going to be mad at him for letting Kane stay back.
"Don't worry about that," Kane responded confidently.
