CHAPTER 21:WORK DEMANDS.
"Why will you lie to me honey?" Mr John's wife asked, as she discovered the content of the letter.
"Lied to you? I didn't lie to you honey," Mr John defended himself.
"You told me it was a resignation letter not this," she said, glaring at him.
"I only told you what you needed to hear, and not want to have to say honey," Mr John said, and chuckled softly.
"This isn't funny honey. You should have told me," she said, still holding the letter.
"Am sorry honey. But am glad and the same time sad that you didn't submit the letter," Mr John said, as he continued eating his lunch.
"Why are you sad?" she inquired, wondering.
"You couldn't deliver the letter, that means I have a lot of explanations to give when I get back to work tomorrow."
"Don't worry, your absence won't be noticed today," she comforted him.
"And how is that possible?"
