Chapter 18 - C18: ＊＊＊＊＊＊ unlocked

Watching his shinobi get killed so easily. Onoki made a decision

"RETREAT!!!" He called out.

"No. They're retreating, I can't let such an opportunity go to waste." Izuna muttered.

" CHIDORI" Izuna screamed as his kama activated and his hand got coated in lightning. The sound of multiple chirping birds echoed as Izuna used his sharingan to predict his opponents movements. His 2 tomoe's started spinning a he ran piercing the hearts of his enemies. 

A few minutes later half the horde had escaped but 1 man was left behind. Izuna's chakra level was almost completely depleted. He could use 1 jutsu max. He deactivated his Karma and fell to his knees. His sharingan deactivated and the single Earth shinobi jumped out of the ground behind Izuna. He attempted to pierce Izuna's heart but Mei who was midair intercepted him by throwing a kunai at his heart killing him in the process. 

*Mei POV*

I could hear sounds of multiple birds chirping as I was jogging to where I could faintly sense Izuna's chakra. I immediately felt as if something bad was going to happen. I rushed over as fast as I could. By the time I reached, I felt Izuna's chakra weaken and I saw he was on his knees. I saw an Iwa shinobi burst out of the ground and attempt to kill Izuna. 

I chakra jumped and threw a wind enhanced kunai toward the shinobi. It landed on the left side of his chest. Originally the kunai wouldn't have been able to pierce the chunin's vest from more than a hundred meters, since it was wind chakra enhanced it easily pierced the vest and the chest of the shinobi.

I landed about 10 meters away from Izuna an ran toward him. Suddenly a lightning beam hit me.

*3rd person*

Izuna looked up when he felt Mei land nearby. He saw a lightning beam shoot into her stomach. I looked in the direction the attack came from to see that the assailant was none other than Hiruzen Sarutobi, the 3rd Hokage. I rushed to Mei's side and used my sharingan to examine her. Her heartbeat was getting fainter and fainter. 

"I-zu-na" She said slowly while looking at me with her emerald eyes.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIII" Izuna yelled with fury as tears rolled down his cheeks and his sharingan spun wildly evolving into the mangekyo sharingan.

He looked at Hiruzen with fury in his eyes. 

[Amaterasu]

Izuna used Amaterasu remembering the pattern of Sasuke and Itachi's mangekyo sharingan in a detailed manner. Hiruzen erupted into black flames as he screamed in agony and the fire consumed him.

Suddenly a screen popped up in front of Izuna.
