After leaving his palace, Siddhartha goes to the royal amnesty citadel. This is the capital of a country named Ma kiệt đà in ancient India days. Here he met monks for the time being in a meditating state throughout mountain caves. Prince Siddhartha became a student of a monk named Alara Kalama and was taught the way to meditate. After months of following his teacher's instructions, he started to be aware that it wasn't suited for him. After what just happened he once again followed another teacher named Uddaka Ramaputta.
But just as Prince Siddhartha thought, becoming a monk wasn't that easy. He has had two teachers and none of their ways work for him. Because of that, he joined a group of 5 monks at Benares forest to begin fasting and experiencing extreme pain. Coming out of that people no longer knew him as the Prince of Kapilavattsu. Instead, they knew him as a monk called Sakyamuni which means "The sage of the Shakyamuni family".Six years flew by Sakyamuni could see that he hadn't reached the stage he had been aiming for yet. Despite having iron mental health, his human physical body can't handle it anymore. But there was that one day that helped Sakyamuni reach his target closer as he heard a conversation between a musician and his student:" If the strings are pulled too tight, they will break; if it is pulled too light, it won't make the right sound".With his wisdom and intelligence, just right after hearing this he reached the enlightenment state and knew he was wrong from the start. He learned a lesson that is key to his success in the future. The main point of it is the middle is always the best, not too tight, not too light. Sakyamuni then went for a small work. On his path, he met a villager named Sujata, and she wanted to help Sakyamuni by giving him her rice cake since his physical state was already too weak. People said that Sakyamuni's body returned to normal immediately after eating it.
