Chapter 66 - Traveling to brother's school.

It's been about two days. In the morning, I woke up early, and after training my combat skills and ice magic, I took a hot shower and went to the kitchen. Dad traveled far away with Mom for a few days, and my little brother spends some days here and others at school, but today he slept at home.

For breakfast, I made some freshly squeezed orange juice and prepared a pancake batter. The batter was made with vegan ingredients and high-quality chocolate powder from Willy Wonka's world.

I whisked the batter for some time until it reached the ideal consistency, and then I started frying the pancakes one by one. As I placed them on a plate, I heard a voice and the sound of footsteps while feeling something touching my pants.

"Banana?" Looking down, I saw the cute minion holding onto my pants, pointing at the juice bottle. Next to him, a clear slime, like cleanliness itself, and a brown one were bouncing, waiting for their own commands, while the other minion went to wake up my brother.

These four help me with some household tasks (since I always like to have them around), although that's not their only use.

Soon after, I heard a noise at the door and called out loudly:

"Come in."

The door opened, and Peter walked in.

"Love! I got the fruits you asked for—"

"Banana!"

I almost burst out laughing when I saw the minion, who had already placed some things on the table, running toward Peter, aiming for the bunch of bananas in his hands.

Peter sighed and handed them over.

"Here you go, Carl."

"HUPP, banana!"

Not only did he take the bunch of bananas, but he also collected the rest of the fruits and brought them to the table. Meanwhile, the cleaning slime cleaned up any mess, and the digging slime (focused on trash) went to gather any garbage, consuming it directly.

The fruits were placed on the table, and at that moment, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Brother... I feel unfairly treated that you sent Lucas to wake me up. I like him, but I still prefer when you wake me up."

I turned around and saw my brother, with his blue tail and skin, dressed in his little school uniform like a grown-up boy.

I approached him, gave him a light kiss on the forehead, and hugged him lovingly.

"All right, I'll wake you up next time."

Lucas, minion number 2, shrugged his shoulders and ran to the table when he saw the banana bunches.

Holding my little brother's hand in one hand and my boyfriend's in the other, we sat down to eat chocolate pancakes with fruit and juice.

"By the way, love, do you have any plans for the day? I'm going out to try to 'take pictures' for the newspaper," Peter asked.

"I'm going to Kurt's school today. Aunt Oro asked me to go there. I'm not sure why, but it's good to pay a visit."

As I said that, I heard my brother's excited voice beside me.

"Brother! Let's go together today? Yay! Can I show you the whole school?"

Hearing his excited voice, I patted his head gently and nodded.

"I want to introduce you to my friends too. They're a bit older than me, but they're really nice."

We kept chatting about various things, and when we were done, the slimes and minions helped me tidy up. Once everything was done, I returned them to the system space.

I held Kurt's hand with my left hand.

"Shall we teleport today?"

"Perfect!" He was happy and excited. He always enjoys it when I use my Kai Kai or teleportation ability, as it's a moment when he can feel and visualize spatial movement more carefully.

Even though our abilities are different, since he uses a parallel dimension to teleport, the sensation of others' spatial movement helps him understand the space element and grasp the possibilities of his ability.

There were times when I spent hours using Kai Kai with Kurt, traveling to different places around the country and even the globe, aiming for him to perceive spatial elements and explore his capacity.

"Brother, I'm ready. Can we go?"

Kurt's voice woke me up, and I saw that he was already packed with his hair neatly done.

"Let's go, Kai Kai." I placed my fingers on my forehead, and with the "magic" words, we disappeared from our location.

Emerging in the middle of Xavier Academy's vast grounds, a breeze filled with the scent of natural plants entered my nose. As soon as I stepped into the school, I felt a strong and slightly uncontrolled mental power enveloping my body. It didn't seem hostile, so I didn't react defensively. Instead, relying on the nature of the Black Turtle, I sent out a calming wave of mental energy from my mental sea.

The energy clearly soothed the area, and my eyes turned toward the one who had sent the wave. Nearby, two young people, appearing about 14 years old—two years older than my brother—stood under a tree. One was a young girl with red hair, and the other was a boy with brown hair wearing modified black glasses, which seemed to be some kind of item to contain his abilities. He had a relatively kind appearance but seemed a little boring for some reason...

My eyes glowed faintly, a soft mix of icy blue and green, energized by my Qi and mental energy. In one of them, I saw what appeared to be a strong source of energy, perhaps from his mutation. In the other, there was a powerful mental force, which seemed even more terrifying. My brow furrowed slightly because I felt a strange and powerful energy inside the boy's body, but it vanished as if it were an illusion.

"Jean, Scott!! Come meet my brother!"

He called and ran over to the other two, who seemed like a couple.

After he spoke, he pulled the two over. I sensed contradictory emotions from Jean—confusion, gratitude, and even traces of fear—but I paid little attention. In Scott, there was a sense of neutrality mixed with alertness and goodwill.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Alex," I greeted them both with a kind and gentle smile.

"I'm Jean."

"I'm Scott."

"Well, since you're my brother's friends, I'll treat you well."

I walked around the school while chatting with them about various topics. At the same time, I sent a message to the girl:

'I'll ignore your rude behavior of sending your telepathic energy. I know you're new at this too.'

She looked surprised but nodded in acknowledgment. I continued asking other things:

"So, how's my brother doing at school? Does he have a crush? How's he been behaving in class? Has he been playing any pranks?"

I asked like a nosy uncle or parent. My brother got embarrassed and tried to stop me, but I didn't mind.

After the "tour and talk," I sat in a relatively beautiful and comfortable room, with soft leather sofas and the rest of the space decorated with flower vases, paintings, and other objects. On the wooden table, there were sugar cookies and a tea made from English leaves, making it delicious and charming. My lips softly touched the liquid. I sipped the tea in the school's waiting room while waiting for my aunt to arrive.

3rd POV

In the center of the universe, a Phoenix made of fire and cosmic energy soared through the air, but at that moment, it stopped. Its gaze turned into the distance.

"Strange... it seemed like I felt an extremely powerful and invasive presence in one of my hosts' energy... but it didn't seem hostile, so I suppose there's no need to worry much."

Murmuring this to itself, the cosmic entity continued to move, overseeing the universe and allowing creation, death, and rebirth to flow from the essence of its existence.
