Upon seeing the mission, I realized the difficulty, but the rewards were indeed extremely good and interesting. Even though the type of magic wasn't clear, Fairy Tail magics are always versatile, powerful, and intriguing, and the detail made me quite curious.
Arcanine would be a great help for movement and some future support situations, not to mention that the Pokémon intrigues me and seems nice to lie down with...
While thinking about this, I heard screams and things being destroyed, which made me wake up and move quickly. The wind gathered at my feet and made me accelerate towards it.
There, I saw dense energy starting to gather at the Destroyer's head. Seeing this, I immediately noticed the danger, and in my right hand, a wook appeared. Controlling it with my mental power and internal energy, I threw it towards the Destroyer's head. Just as the laser was ready to fire, my divine tool pushed its head directly to the ground.
The laser ended up hitting the ground forcefully, causing destruction and devastation below, spreading dust and some debris.
At the same time, it seemed to want to get up. However, I pressed it down to keep it there for a while until the beam discharged and at least some people evacuated. Fortunately, I saw SHIELD agents appear and help with the quick evacuation of people.
Around two minutes later, the laser had stopped, and the Destroyer gathered more strength while trying to get out from under my wook. This action made me need to deposit more mental and internal energy.
I looked around and used my detection abilities to see that there were few civilians around. So, I brought the wook back to my tattoo and positioned myself alongside the Asgardian warriors.
We all got into position. I also saw that Thor hadn't moved yet, and I received a system notification.
"Host, due to a certain battle in Asgard, the Bifrost should be temporarily opened in a few minutes. At that moment, you must enter it if you wish to complete the second objective. Until then, try to protect and stimulate Thor."
I nodded and looked at all the warriors.
The great weapon of Asgard had already risen and was moving at a moderate speed towards us. The first one I saw running was a blonde guy wielding two axes, heading to the right. On the left, Volstagg went to attack, while from a distance, Hogun attacked with a bow and some type of special and powerful arrow. Sif also moved with her two-handed sword, seeming to aim to attack from behind or the side of the Destroyer.
I took out my wooden staff and charged magoi into it, firing pure magoi shots like punches, resembling a machine gun. The shots didn't cause real damage to the weapon, as they didn't have concrete or considerable power, just like the punch of an adult man.
Even so, the shots were enough to irritate and distract it, helping the other Asgardians to approach and cause some damage to the Destroyer.
I saw part of its metal and armor slowly being destroyed. The problem was that the rate was slow, and my eyes also seemed to show that embedded magic in this "weapon" was regenerating the damage done, although it was a clearly slow process.
I didn't worry and continued firing magoi shots with strength and damage that seemed to irritate it more and more. At that moment, I saw its chest starting to gather energy as if to fire a second shot. Noticing this, in my left hand, the power of the wind began to gather slowly but strongly, forming a small, silent tornado.
"For Asgard!!" I heard a shout, and Sif plunged her sword deeply into the Destroyer's face. The sword pierced through to the other side of its "face."
The damage seemed to indeed stop and contain it for a while. However, my eyes clearly observed the energy increasing more and more, and at the right point, the strong heat shot pushed the sword away, and the other warriors attacking from the side either got hit by the laser or took strong blows that threw them a distance. The magical energy attack also destroyed some buildings in the city, but due to the absence of people nearby, there were no human injuries.
But still, I couldn't allow this to continue for much longer. My tornado left my hand, and a gigantic wind tornado flew towards it. The laser fought against the tornado, and the attacks clashed for a while as if there was no winner. But clearly, the tornado seemed to be winning, and I didn't let it continue like that.
The reason I decided to make this attack was never to defeat the energy attack.
The wind attack gathered below it, and the Asgardian weapon began to rise in the air, flying helplessly within a gigantic tornado of wind and sand.
I carefully used my power to prevent the weapon from escaping and proceeded to the next step. I controlled my wok with mental power and threw it into the tornado, using my Qi and mental power inside the tool.
Within seconds, it grew to a size large enough to cover the Destroyer and began to shine with golden-green letters, emitting a strong, unique bestial mental power.
Before proceeding with the attack, I made a telepathic channel with Thor while observing around.
Devastations and destroyed places, Asgardian warriors tired and with injuries, even though not too severe, and the human Jane still here for some reason.
'Thor, what are you doing lying down? Is this the reason your father sent you here? To become incapable and see others suffer in protecting the god of thunder and the prince of Asgard?' I communicated with him in a strong, interrogatory tone.
'How will your family be? Your people? Your friends... dead because of your incapacity? What is your logic in seeking power and combat if you have become incapable of doing what's important?' My questions and words were direct and strong, like swords piercing his mind.
Every word hit him, hurting and making him think, but also gathering courage and will. Small magical, divine, and natural lightning began to appear around him slowly, accumulating over time. The most basic seal on his body also seemed to start breaking, even though in a strange and unexpected way.
Far from here, in a facility, a certain hammer also began to vibrate.
I couldn't fully observe this and could only hope that when I left here, the Asgardian warriors and Thor could resolve something. But before that, I still planned to cause damage to the Destroyer.
With the wok above it, I infused more Qi and mental energy, depositing a little less than half of mine. This caused a divine beast's roar to echo around it.
It shone with even more power and terror, and without hesitation, I removed my wind power with gentleness and made a downward motion with my right hand.
With a sound that broke the air and seemed to even affect time, it descended and, with extreme force, crushed the Destroyer to the ground.
The force was such that a huge part of the ground was devastated, and significant cracks spread in various directions, even affecting some buildings.
Dust and sand also rose into the air.
"I think I overdid it a bit…" I murmured.
At that moment, I felt a change in the atmosphere, and in the sky, something began to change, and power and energy began to gather.
Before I prepared to leave, I let my wind power gather at my feet, allowing me to fly, and observed the Destroyer with my eyes as the wok had already returned to the mark on my right wrist.
Deeply embedded in the ground, I saw that the Destroyer wasn't completely broken, but its energy and magical formations seemed confused. Additionally, cracks were evident throughout its armor.
Seeing this, I began to fly in the air, placing a pill in my mouth, her functions is recover a bit of the three energies: physical, mental, and internal, although it has a greater effect on physical and internal energies.
I moved away and sent a message to Thor.
'Thor, I have to leave. The destruction or not of the Destroyer and the survival of those you consider family depends...'
