"I felt my body being covered by a strange, colorful, magical energy. It had a strong spatial and dimensional essence, and the sensation was different, yet similar to when I use Kai Kai, only at a distinct level of power and energy.
I soon opened my eyes again and found myself in a different space, in what seemed to be a beautiful temple adorned with a large amount of gold and stones, giving off a sense of magic and divinity.
In the middle of this temple, I saw a sword, and beside it was a man with strange eyes, dressed in Nordic medieval clothing embellished with gold and other runic letters that radiated magical energy.
'Who are you?'
I didn't have time to continue my line of thought as it was interrupted by the voice of a man, or something that could be called a man.
Someone taller than ordinary men, standing over 2 meters high.
His entire skin was bluish, like ice, and he emanated a sense of cold and danger.
His energy of strength and danger was also strongly felt by me, someone comparable to powerful mutants or perhaps more… I should probably prepare myself as much as possible for this fight and not hesitate to eliminate my enemies.
There were a total of 3 of them, watching me with clear hostility and disdain.
'A mere human, even though you seem different from common humans, you're still a weakling of a low-level race. What a pity you got involved where you shouldn't have.'
He spoke coldly and quickly moved in front of me.
In my right hand, a piece of technology appeared, and I clicked its button.
'Zzzz'
With the sound of laser and energy, a saber condensed of power and technology appeared.
I swiftly moved my hand to face the enemy in front of me.
The ice sword clashed with my saber, even pushing me back a bit, but only slightly.
'Quite strong… and using a technological weapon.'
I smiled at his arrogance.
And I vanished from my position, using teleportation to appear behind him with the sword directly aimed at his heart. However, I had already noticed that ice giants have two hearts.
So while one was strongly pierced by my ice sword, the other was ripped out by my hand. Using the Zoldyck assassin technique, reinforced by Qi.
My hand, with nails sharper than knives, ripped out both.
'Badum Badum'
The sound of the heart in my hand could be heard while the other was already destroyed by the lightsaber.
I moved my feet back slightly.
'You…'
The giant I had just taken down could only murmur in disbelief as his body fell to the ground. My strength isn't top-tier, but since I decided to eliminate my enemies, I've managed somehow. The element of surprise, combined with being underestimated, worked in my favor. These giants didn't seem to be the most powerful, which made them manageable, not to mention all my training experience and combat skills. Of course, the other two, seeing their companion's body shattered into pure ice, looked at me with caution.
I didn't want to prolong the fight, so I gathered the wind at my feet and raised my hands toward the sky. Above my head, two spears made of light magic appeared and flew towards them. One of the giants didn't hesitate and destroyed one with ease using his ice sword, while the other dodged it. Naturally, my attack didn't stop there as I "ran" towards them faster than the wind, appearing in front of the one who dodged, clearly the weaker of the two. He widened his eyes in shock and quickly swung his ice sword destructively to my left. I turned my hand towards the attack and created a small whirlwind that stopped it from hitting me. My saber spun in my hand and struck him directly, but like me, he formed an ice shield in front of him.
I could tell that the shield was formed by both energy from within his body and natural energy around him, like a skill that blended internal energy/magic with a soul-based magic that draws power from the environment or dimension.
My saber hit the shield and gently pierced one side of the ice, but it wasn't enough to break through completely. At that moment, my Haki sensed several attacks coming my way, so I clenched my fist, and a magical energy shield, Borg, enveloped my body. I also retreated slightly. My shield was bombarded with numerous ice attacks formed by natural and magical energy. However, due to Borg's shield properties and strength, it remained intact. I glanced forward and saw the second ice giant attacking me. Frowning, I thought about how to eliminate them quickly.
The wind gathered in my right hand, swirling above my head, and quickly formed into the shape of a fearsome wolf's face, over 3 meters tall and 4 meters long. Made of pure natural power and wind, I hurled it at them. The large wolf split into two smaller ones, charging at them at high speed. One of the giants extended his blade and somehow froze my wind power.
Seeing that the giant was struggling, I increased the wind energy in the two wolves. Seizing the opportunity, I used teleportation to appear behind the weaker giant and, without hesitation or giving him time to react, I used all my strength to decapitate him with my energy saber. I smiled in satisfaction, but it didn't last, as I was thrown into the distance, crashing hard into the golden wall, causing it to crack. Fortunately, I didn't take much damage since my Borg shield activated just in time. The shield cracked significantly, but it held, preventing any harm to me.
I looked ahead and saw the giant had grown slightly in size and was emitting a colder and more powerful aura than before. A new ice blade, now covered in more spikes and radiating even greater strength, appeared in his other hand. His killing intent surged, oppressively enveloping my entire body. I sheathed my saber and activated my dominion aura to softly and at a low level cover my body, preventing his bloodlust from affecting me. This time, I drew a different weapon due to the danger I sensed from him. With green smoke, a wook appeared in my right hand, and the wind was still at my feet.
To start the battle, I conjured four different boomerangs in my left hand and threw them directly at him. The ice giant simply turned his blade and froze the objects in mid-air. Unfortunately for him, he allowed two of them to get too close. When the small red lights turned green, two explosions occurred. Of course, I didn't aim to defeat him since he easily shrugged them off without taking any damage, but the explosions had another purpose.
I threw a special disguised boomerang. He got distracted and didn't seem to notice the object until it reached his body, which was enough as it exploded, creating a massive amount of foam that solidified quickly, hindering his movements. I was above him and infused my Wook with powerful energy, launching it at him. He broke through the foam with ease, given his strong power and combat level. However, the Wok, now expanded with internal energy and glowing runes from my mental energy reservoir, pinned him to the ground. He used his ice blades and energy to resist, but I poured more mental energy into the Wok, crushing him further until my attack finally flattened him completely into the ground. I made quick up-and-down movements, causing even more damage.
Then I returned the Wok to my hand. Inside the crater, his body was severely crushed, but somehow he was still alive, seemingly trying to draw on the energy from the environment and the remnants of his internal energy to heal. However, I already had a plan, which was why I retrieved the Wook before ensuring his destruction. Before he could do anything, the center of his body and both hearts were destroyed by a shadow of darkness that completely invaded him. That shadow appeared at my feet, looking a bit tired but not too much. My shadow slime had delivered the final blow. I patted him lightly before returning the Wok to its previous position.
"Good job...he didn't notice your movement, and the attack was well-executed without using too much of your mana, thanks to his weakened state," I said to him before sending him back to my shadow. Looking at the three giants—or what was left of them—I could only sigh as I thought about my strength. Honestly, these giants definitely aren't at the top of their race's elite, yet I still faced some difficulty fighting them. I can't imagine what it would be like to face the cream of the crop of the frost giants or the Asgardians, especially the gods. I didn't even want to think about how strong beings like Thor, Loki, or, worse, Odin and King Laufey of the giants would be.
"I'm still so weak…" I murmured, and at that moment, I heard footsteps and the sound of clapping coming from behind me.
