As I lay down on the single bed that night, I silently cooked up dialogues in my head and ran lines for myself and Julia. I wanted to say that I would be leaving for Serenity Villa tomorrow, but I was a little scared to say it because I was a hundred percent sure that Julia would hound me or talk me into staying for longer.
I would have loved to stay for a few days more, but I had promised Caleb that I would return tomorrow.
If Caleb appeared at the doorstep like before, I was afraid that he and Julia would end up fighting again and Caleb would probably tear the house down to the ground.
I couldn't put Julia at risk.
After a couple of minutes, I finally resolved my heart and looked at Julia's bed. "Julia, you asleep yet?"
"Not yet. Why?"
I looked at her body's outline and softly informed her, "I will go to Serenity Villa tomorrow."
"What? Why? Don't tell me it's because that asshole said so."
