Chapter 10 - The inn part 4

Jingyi nodded in acknowledgement and laid his head on Sizhui's shoulder. Sizhui smiled, "I know you didn't sleep in that room."

Jingyi, "it was kind of uncomfortable to sleep on the same bed as you so.."

Sizhui, "then sleep here."

Jingyi widened his eyes in shock.

Jingyi acted like he didn't hear Sizhui, "w-…what?" He heard everything.

"You should sleep here so we can go back to Gusu tomorrow."

"O-..okay." Jingyi had agreed.

Jingyi had actually fallen asleep. When Sizhui noticed, he moved Jingyi to his lap, Sizhui's robe was pristine, well kept and white, but on top of that, it was soft, making for a good pillow.

After about three hours, Sizhui heard something rustle in the bushes, he wasn't stupid enough to not check, "what if it was a burglar? Or a beggar?" He thought.

He went to go check, laying Jingyi's head on the bench. When he walked over there, instead of a burglar or beggar,...

It was Zizhen and Jin ling. Sizhui, "what are you two doing here?"

Zizhen, "we're trying to spy on your guys' date."

Sizhui's cheeks turned a reddish color, "w-…what?"

Jin ling, "don't think we didn't know what's up~."

Sizhui looked back at Jingyi, Zizhen and Jin ling could DEFINITELY see and hear everything in that conversation that the two were having.

Sizhui, "we're not dating." He looked uneasy.

Jin ling, "well then one of you has a crush." By this time, Zizhen and Jin ling were one-hundred percent sober.

Sizhui, "that's-…that's not…that's not the case."

Jin ling, "then what is?"

Zizhen looked back at Jingyi and pointed, "are you sure that's not the case?"

Sizhui looked back, "I'm sure." There was heavy emphasis on the 'sure' part. "Me and him are just friends."

Jin ling looked at Sizhui skeptically.

This time, Jin ling and Zizhen said that they were going back to their rooms, (we all know that that isn't the case).

Sizhui walked back to Jingyi, the sun was starting to rise, "Jingyi, wake up, it's almost five am." He gently patted the back of Jingyi's head.

Jingyi groaned and said, "Sizhui, hold on, it's not even five yet, Sir won't yell at me."

Sizhui smiled softly, he stood up from the bench, carrying Jingyi's arm across his shoulder, "come on, we have to get the rest of our stuff from the inn before we check out."

There was a 'mellow' tone in Sizhui's voice.

Sizhui continued basically dragging Jingyi back to the inn, Sizhui fixed his own forehead ribbon and made sure his clothes were changed, they definitely smelled like alcohol. He then woke up Jingyi.
