Sizhui chuckled and sat down at his desk, he was reading a book he had borrowed from the Library Pavilion.
He looked at Jingyi, who was still fast asleep. Sizhui's thoughts, "what am I doing? You're my best friend." He put his hand to his temples and continued reading the book.
Jingyi moved positions, Sizhui couldn't help but look over. Jingyi was laying on his side now, hair fallen over his shoulders.
Sizhui shook his head as if to clear his head and continued reading. After about forty-four minutes, Sizhui woke Jingyi up, "Jingyi, wake up, we have a lecture soon."
Jingyi, "later."
Sizhui sat down next to Jingyi, "let's go feed Hanguang-jun's rabbits before the lecture, he's out on a night-hunt with senior Wei."
Jingyi, "why do we have to feed them?"
Sizhui, "because I think we're the only ones who care."
Jingyi, "mhm, five more minutes."
Sizhui nodded and sat up, he waited exactly five minutes before basically pulling Jingyi up, Jingyi sat up, visibly tired. Sizhui, "come on."
Jingyi, "mhm."
The two boys walked through the back mountains, (they aren't supposed to), and fed the rabbits some carrots. Jingyi, "these rabbits seem to live happily, unlike me who has lectures every.single.day."
Sizhui laughed, "well, at least senior Wei stopped trying to eat them."
Jingyi shrugged, Jingyi knew he was the only one that had ever seen Sizhui laugh out loud and act in a non-Lan manner. It was special to him.
Jingyi scratched the rabbit's back, it fell asleep on him.
Sizhui, "aww, it fell asleep on you."
Jingyi, "well what am I supposed to do with it now." He continued petting the rabbit and feeding the other ones near them.
Sizhui, "let it sleep, we still have about twenty minutes."
Jingyi pouted, "you woke me up too early."
Sizhui shrugged and laid on Jingyi's lap, along with the rabbit that had fallen asleep on Jingyi.
