Chapter 5 - Chapter#5: The Ruthless Commander…

Previously On Unknown: Matsumoto trained Akishima and Hisashi for their mission to confront Yuji. They embarked on their journey, using a martial arts technique called Glide to move swiftly. Hisashi, initially distracted by talking mid-flight, refocused under Matsumoto's guidance. Akishima had moved ahead, pushing them to hurry towards Yuji's palace.

*Both Matsumoto And Hisashi Arrived At Yuji's Palace's Front Entrance.*

"We're here, at the Gomi Palace," Hisashi exclaimed, excitedly, looking at the front entrance. He stands, with his hands on his waist, right in front of the palace, slowly staring up to admire its height. As he sees the top he covers his face from the sun with his right hand.

"Gomi? That's a Japanese word that means garbage," Matsumoto noted, standing behind the boy.

"Yeah, I guess we didn't tell you before, the actual name for this junk is The Gomi Palace, which means Garbage Palace, pretty creative name, don't you think?" Hisashi, turning around slightly and pointing at the palace behind him, explained, then inquired, somewhat disrespecting the palace.

"Yes, I guess you're right," Matsumoto slightly chuckled.

"That aside, this place is a mess, and it's not just the garbage. There are so many knocked-out soldiers, and there's a huge hole in the front entrance," Hisashi remarked, examining the chaotic scene.

"Come to think of it, when we were almost at the palace, still gliding, the surrounding outposts were all destroyed and the wall that encircled the palace was damaged at the front," Matsumoto recalled with a serious expression. Looking down and stroking with his beard.

"Do you think it was Akishima?" Hisashi asked, turning around at Matsumoto once more, his face showing concern.

"No, I don't think so," Matsumoto replied, stroking his beard. "I'm not saying that the boy couldn't have done this, but in this short period?" Matsumoto continued, addressing Akishima as 'the boy' and still playing with his beard.

"So you're saying that someone else was here?" Hisashi inquired.

"Yes, someone else along with Akishima," Matsumoto answered. Both he and Hisashi heard fighting noises from within the palace, on the first floor where the front entrance is.

"What's that noise?" Hisashi asked, confused, turning towards the front entrance.

"It seems to be coming from there," Matsumoto pointed at the entrance hole.

"Let's go check it out," Hisashi said, excitedly. As both he and Matsumoto reached the first floor of the palace.

"Huh, what the hell is going on here?" Hisashi inquired, confused and shocked.

"Who the hell is that guy? And how and why is he fighting Commander Daiki?" Hisashi continues, still confused and shocked that a little boy is fighting such a large man.

Commander Daiki, Known As The 3rd Rank Of The Ranks within Yuji's henchmen, holds the illustrious Title Of The Army Commander At The Gomi Palace. As the name implies, he's the head honcho responsible for orchestrating the antics of every guard within the palace, perched watchtowers, and those unlucky enough to be stuck in outposts. Now, let's paint you a picture of this guy.

Picture this - he's a big fella, the kind that makes door frames groan in protest. He has a huge diagonal scar that covers half his face. A bona fide brute with biceps so colossal they have their gravitational pull. Yet, it appears he doesn't know leg day. We're talking medium blond hair, a beard, and to top it off, a stylish blond mustache. He's one of those guys whose body screams, "I bench press cows for fun," while his legs whisper, "But squats? Nah, not my thing."

Now, the pièce de résistance – his weapon. It's not your average garden variety club; it's a full-blown spiky monstrosity. This club has seen more scars and battles than a grizzled pirate, and it's as imposing as it sounds. Commander Daiki's probably broken it a few times himself, just for fun.

His combat style is simple – get up close and personal. Speed might not be his strong suit, but boy, when he swings that spiky club, the earth shakes. If you're unlucky enough to be on the other end of that swing, well, let's just say your day takes a rather painful turn.

So, in summary, Commander Daiki is the muscle-bound, slow-moving, and downright terrifying Army Commander of the Gomi Palace. He's not the guy you'd want to meet in a dark alley, or a well-lit one, for that matter.

Commander Daiki's shout reverberated through the air, a chilling mix of malevolence and joy.

He lunged at the boy with his massive club, his face was terrifying. He laughs maniacally as he swings his club in a calculated arc, each movement designed to maximize the damage.

The boy, battered and worn while holding a significant resemblance to the person Akishima met the night he drank alchohol, bore the physical scars of his brutal encounter. His body was a testament to the ferocity of the fight – a canvas of sweat and blood. His injuries were severe, his breaths ragged, and he teetered on the edge of consciousness, all courtesy of Commander Daiki's relentless onslaught.

Daiki himself was no less battered, his battle-hardened form adorned with countless scars, cuts, and bruises. It was a gruesome sight, but it was a reflection of the warrior he was. To him, these marks were badges of honor, earned through countless battles and triumphs.

As the two combatants faced off, the boy, despite his dire condition, summoned the strength to evade Commander Daiki's impending attack. He leaped into the air, defying the expectations of everyone present.

Then, in a moment of sheer determination, the boy unleashed a devastating right hook at the commander's face. The blow landed with shocking force, propelling the commander backward until he collided with a nearby wall.

Hisashi, who had been watching with rapt attention, couldn't contain his amazement. "No way, he's so strong. Even in a beaten state like that, he manages to pull something like that off," Hisashi marveled his voice with a mixture of awe and disbelief.

"I've never seen him before. To think that there was someone like him on this island, and he didn't even train with Matsumoto-sensei," Hisashi exclaimed, still stunned by the boy's extraordinary prowess.

"I did train him," Matsumoto revealed a trace of pride in his eyes. Hisashi was taken aback, glancing between Matsumoto and the battered boy. It was a revelation that left him utterly bewildered.

Commander Daiki, his face contorted with a mixture of pain and exhilaration, chuckled. "That was a good one, you little brat," he remarked, his nose bleeding and voice dripping with a twisted sense of enjoyment. He prepared for another assault, determined to continue the battle.
