*5 Years Ago, On Garton The Junkyard, An Eastern Part Of The Island…*
We see one of the little tents, away from all the other tents. In that tent, there's a large, bulky, hairy, and gorilla-looking man seated under the tent, sheltering himself from the burning hot sun. A little further away from him, is a boy, wearing a hat approaching him. And for some reason, in hell like Garton, where only sadness and despair lie. This boy seems to be… Smiling.
*As The Boy Reaches The Man's Tent…*
"Who are you?" The man inquired, his voice deep, rough, and menacing.
"I'm Yuji. The person who'll change your life forever," the boy introduced himself confidently, tilting his hat upward to reveal his face.
"Huh, 'The person who'll change my life forever.' Don't make me laugh. You better get outta here before you get hurt, you little brat," the man threatened, his anger simmering.
"Before I get hurt, huh? So what exactly does me getting hurt look like?" The boy retorted, his confidence bordering on disrespect.
"You cocky bastard!" the man shouted, leaping toward the boy with a powerful launch that destroyed the flimsy tent he had just been in. Though the tent was made from junk materials and lacked durability, this feat was still impressive.
As the man propelled himself at the boy, he unleashed a flurry of punches, but every strike missed its mark. The boy, with his small, nimble frame, easily maneuvered around the lumbering giant. To him, the man was merely a large, slow target. However, the commander's strikes, when hitting the earth, created wide-ranging shockwaves akin to earthquakes.
The man launched another earth-shaking fist and the boy dodged yet again. Swiftly, the boy vanishes and then materializes behind the man, reading his fist coated in flames to finish the fight.
But unexpectedly the man dodged the attack by ducking and in the same moment, whilst in a fit of rage, the man turned around from his left, and with his right hand behind him, he launched a devastating gut punch to the boy.
This attack was so strong the boy coughed up blood and was sent flying in a pile of junk.
The man was no longer holding anything back, he wanted to get rid of this kid as soon as possible. His fist still clenched tightly and his bloodlust gaze met the boy.
Soon after, Yuji slowly got to his feet from the heap of garbage. Now covered in garbage himself along with a thin layer of dust captivating his body, Yuji was heavily breathing, blood was dripping from his head to his left eye and as a result, his left eye was closed and he was holding his belly with his right hand where he had been hit.
"Huh, it's just like they said, a Giant Of Destruction," the boy marveled at the man's raw strength, still heavily breathing in his beaten state.
"To think you almost defeated me in one blow." he continued.
"Shut up! Those people don't know anything," the commander bellowed angrily. He slowly got in a battle stance preparing for another assault.
"All they ever talk about is that I'm a monster and I don't deserve to live. But none of them, not one of them, knows or understands the pain I've gone through," the man continued, his words punctuated with every movement he made as he got into his stance.
The boy, whilst wiping the blood from his mouth, thought, "That last attack was no joke. I can't expect to get hit like that again. It's been a long time since I've had to think in a battle. This guy is something else." he thinks with a determined smirk.
"Well, tough guy, listen here. I have no intention of hearing your story," the boy said bluntly, with his same determined smirk.
"You little—" the man began, cut short by his frustration.
"Don't get it wrong. I'm not saying that I don't care," the boy clarified, "I'm saying that you should put all that in the past, where it belongs, and focus on your future."
"Huh…" the man was taken aback by the boy's unexpected maturity.
"You have a lot of potential," the boy continued, as he began getting into a stance as well. "But sadly, your age has caught up to you. Since you're in your 40s, you can no longer bring out your full potential." he continued, his voice carrying determination.
He explained further, "My dream is to ensure others don't suffer the same fate as you did. I aim to create a world where everyone enjoys equality and harmony." his eyes flared with the color of flames, signifying his determination.
As Yuji concluded his passionate speech, the man exited his stance, now standing upright, motionless with his head down.
Perplexed, Yuji inquired, "Huh, is there something wrong? Or have you surrendered?"
Amidst faint chuckles, the man responded, "A world where everyone can live in harmony, you say?" He then adopted a defensive stance. "Don't make me laugh!" he shouted, his anger resurfacing.
He lashed out with a vehement tirade, his hand plunging into the earth, veins bulging as he strained against unseen forces. The ground trembled as he continued, "This World Is Corrupted To Its Core! Happiness Cannot Exist Without Despair! Good Inevitably Breeds Evil!"
Fury building within him, he roared, "Listen here, you uneducated brat!" The earth cracked violently, its rifts reaching toward Yuji. Swiftly, although in a weakened state, Yuji managed to retreat from the impending disaster.
Gazing upon the chaotic spectacle, Yuji murmured, "What monstrous strength." His initial shock gave way to determination.
The man's voice resonated with anger, still lifting the earth, as he declared, "For Wherever There's Light, There Will Always Be Darkness!" The ground quaked as if an earthquake were unleashed. "AHHHH!!! FOR AS TALL AS THE MOUNTAINS! AS DEEP AS THE SEAS! THE KING OF THE BEAST WILL RISE UPON THE WORLD!!" he bellowed, grasping not just the ground but the very world itself.
Momentarily shaken but resolute, Yuji took a stance, ready to counter the impending onslaught.
The man readied his attack, yelling, "GIANT OF DESTRUCTION!! EARTH PLATES… SHATTER!!!!" As he lifted a colossal 150-meter-long plate as thick as 10 meters off the ground, his muscles strained against the effort.
Chuckles escaped Yuji as he prepared to retaliate. "Now it's my turn," he declares, excitement dancing in his eyes.
"Turn Your Imagination Into Reality, The Scorching Heat! Fire! Elemental Fire! Magic, Level 2…! Crimson… Barrage!!!" Yuji chanted, and a barrage of large fireballs burst forth, hurtling towards the earth plate that cast an ominous shadow over him.
However, his initial attack proved ineffective against the impervious earth plate. Yuji recognized the need for a more potent assault.
"Alright then. Let's Turn Up The Heat And Light Up The Dark," Yuji proclaimed, realizing the inadequacy of his previous attack. "Turn Your Imagination Into Reality, The Burning Liquid; Molten Rock! Lava! Elemental Lava! Magic, One Star - Level 2! Molten… Torrent!!!"
Lava forms within his hand and then he swings it to his back right, bending his knees as if about to crouch. A torrent of lava-like energy erupted from his palms, colliding head-on with the earth's plate. The intense heat melted the dirt and stone materials within the plate, boring a hole through it, and radiating brilliant light.
Chuckling, Yuji looked at the man with a triumphant smile as he fell to the ground exhausted. "That was quite fun," he admitted, acknowledging the strength of his opponent. "You forced me to use
Star-Level Magic. You're very strong, just as I thought."
With the battle seemingly concluded, Yuji began to explain, "What I came here for wasn't to fight you. I knew that I had to, so I prepared myself. However, what I came here for was for you to join me."
