"You're thinking about Adam, right?" CK asked Hailey, which made her fluster a little. She felt something was odd, but she just shrug it off.
Hailey looked at CK for a minute before trying to make a word. Granted, she couldn't even say anything that could refute CK's assumption. Her lips which parted closed tightly as she moved her eyes at different directions.
"No need to say anything. I can see it in your eyes. You know, we've been teammates for a while now, and I know how my teammates behave, especially when they do things and feel confused." CK said with a bitter smile. He didn't even have the energy and will to imagine how their team was before all this. The only thing he could do or think about is surviving this hell and being vigilant about people ready to stab them in the back.
