When we last saw Lloyd, he was about to be mugged by the legendary thief, Black Cat. Fortunately, his partner was called and stopped it from happening. He then used his new power of the Plates to Teleport back to his apartment room.
Now, we see him breathing heavily from the encounter, trying to calm his still beating heart. Both from the adrenaline and meeting a beautiful woman.

Danger and lust are an intoxicating mixture. A beautiful woman almost mugged me and if it weren't for Robin. Damn my emotions, all that time spent bottled up in the hospital has got my hormones all sorts of messed up.
I could have been hurt, killed, or scratched by that mugger if it wasn't for the fact she was beautiful and sexy. Damn, how is that costume legal outside in the middle of the day? That cleavage would break the hearts of many adolescent men.
Including me.
"Fucking hell... stupid hormones are making me stupid." Because of my previous condition, any attempts to 'relieve' myself were shut down when the cancer reached my lower body. I couldn't feel anything there for years.
Now when I was reincarnated into this new healthy and awesome body, all those hormones came flooding back like a dam which messed up my plan of keeping to the shadows.
If there's one thing I learned when the MC has powers, keep them hidden. Keep your cards hidden until the proper moment to get the last surprise on the adversary.
Now one other person knows that I can summon Pokemon.
A beam of light burst out of me and Robin, my partner and savior, asked me. "Are you alright, Lloyd? Were you infatuated by that woman?"
"I... I might have. Sorry, Robin, I'm still not used to a new body." I admitted easily. Lying would get me nowhere and I treasure my bonds with my team. "Thanks for saving me."
Robin nodded before continuing. "I think it would be good to rest for the day. Get your emotions and body in order before returning outside."
I nod my head. "Yeah, I'll do that. Sure..."
Robin then turned into a red light and returned to me. I can feel his presence easing my mind.
Yeah, Robin is correct. I need some rest, so much has happened on the first day that I need to lay down.
A good night's rest never hurt anybody. With that in mind, I simply laid down on the bed I woke up on and closed my eyes.
The events of that day that swirled in my head had ceased to a stop. My eyelids feel heavy and my breathing getting shorter.
And I was knocked out.

I like dreams.
The brain is untethered from reality to create realms of impossibility. Where you make the rules and how they dictate. Like a story and you are the author.
Spending all my time in that hospital gave me a lot of time to myself, one of them was lucid dreaming.
The idea is to make your dream your own, to control it to your heart's desires, and to do whatever you want in it.
I'd often practice this and imagine myself having normal legs again, walking and running, keeping up with friends while walking, to dancing away whatever emotion I have.
And yet, reality always manages to break that illusion the moment I wake up and recount my experiences sadly.
Those memories surfaced when I woke up and thought I had a lucid dream. That I was a Pokemon Trainer with my team on a fangame I played, in a world that was not mine.
It sounded silly and make-believe like that a child would imagine while playing with friends. But somehow I doubt it's the case right now.
"If I am not dreaming then Nancy, slap me." A burst of light flowed out of me and took shape on the floor.
It was small, on four legs with long ears and a bowtie on the neck and one of the ears. The light disappeared to show a small animal in pinkish colors. With ribbons flowing out from the chest and ears. It looked at me with light blue eyes that had nothing but kindness in them.
Nancy, the Sylveon, was right in front of me and before I knew it, one of the ribbons moved quickly and-
*slap*
"Ouch... yep, this is real. I am not dreaming and my Pokemon are with me." The stinging sensation was too painful for it to be fake or my mind was just a dedicated actor.
"That's right mister," Nancy spoke with a harsh womanly tone. "And the next time I hear that nonsense from your mouth, I will do a Double Slap."
Considering what her ability was, I visibly wince at the notion. Fairy-types may be cute and cuddly but that same power can effectively kill a Dragon-type.
"Yeah, will do Nancy. Thank you." The Sylveon huffed in approvement.
Nancy then put her paw on my cheek, which was unbelievably soft and squishy, and started healing the damage left there. I can feel some energy flowing out of her small paw to heal or numb the pain in my cheek.
Is that a Heal Pulse? But I deleted that move for a more aggressive one. Can my team recall previous moves? I mean, sure they can from the game but I have to be the one to select the move.
ROB went out on me.
"There. Feeling better, hon?" Nancy asked after she healed my cheek. The pain is gone so that's a thumbs up for me. "Good. Now, let's get some food in that stomach. You must be hungry since you haven't eaten all day yesterday."
Just as I mentioned that, my stomach rumbled deeply and for a moment I lost my energy. Yeah, I am really hungry and I could eat something big.
"Good idea, Nance. I'll look up my phone and-"
"Don't you still have that CyberNav from the Professor? I recall it can access the internet." Nancy interrupted me and my mind blanked out.
CyberNav? Does the improved Pokegear do that? Looking around for another bag, since I threw away the last one, I quickly found one and used it to access my inventory.
A quick check on my Key Items and lo and behold, a CyberNav.
I took it out and it was the form of a watch. It looked... normal enough for a watch right now.
I put it on my left wrist and admired the Pokegear before opening it up. The screen that popped up was instead a bar slowly filling up, almost full, with a message above.
[RotomNav 2.0]
"A RotomNav? What is-" Just as I was about to finish, the progress bar finished and my watch came to life with a cartoonish face.
{Hi! Thank you for choosing the RotomNav as your purchase. The update has been completed and all functions are available to use.} The watch? talked with a buzzing sound at the end.
"Umm, hi," I replied, unsure of what to make of this.
{I can see that you are confused. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a RotomNav, a Rotom inhabiting a CyberNav. Think of me like a RotomPhone, only better and more convenient. I am made to assist trainers like you like a normal CyberNav would do, with some add-ons, of course. So, ask me anything and I'll do my best to answer.}
"Right... so, RotomNav. What can you do?"
{That's easy. The RotomNav has all the functions of a regular CyberNav but with more options. These include:
Map: Shows the user the general vicinity.
Browser: Access the nearby internet.
Box-Link: Access to the user's PC to withdraw or store Pokemon.
Jukebox: Access the radio for some music.
Pokedex: Functions like a traditional Pokedex.
Camera: Take photos and record videos. Can also identify nearby landmarks for general information.
More add-ons may show themselves depending on the situation. But these are the basic functions I can do.}
My eyes widened in response. This thing, this... RotomNav is so cool! Thank you ROB for giving me this wonderful gift!
"That's amazing! You really can do anything, huh?" Nancy chipped in, also happy with the RotomNav's information. "Then, can you show us how to cook? Or rather, to Lloyd?"
A chuckle escaped my lips and the help I needed.
{No problem! With my help, Trainer Lloyd can become a master chef in no time!} The RotomNav is very enthusiastic and I was sucked in the moment.
My dream is now a reality and I want to cherish it for as long as I can.
