Dominick's POV
Alen shifted uncomfortably under my gaze. "Yes, Dom, she... she was a bit down yesterday, so I kind of kept her company."
"I asked you to take her home safely, not get her fucking drunk!"
"I'm so sorry, boss. It won't happen again, I promise," he bowed his head slightly.
"It's... not his fault," Luna's tiny voice interrupted, drawing my attention to her. "I was the one who insisted that I wanted... to get drunk."
I couldn't shake the feeling that something was definitely wrong here. It was as if they were hiding something from me.
"Leave us alone, Alen," I ordered.
"Yes, boss," Alen replied and walked off back to the mansion.
"Why did you drink yesterday to the point that Alen had to carry you? Are you trying to give my men something to talk about?"
She glared at me before fixing her grey eyes elsewhere. "Why do you care? It's not as if... you don't have a girlfriend..."
