She hugged me to her satisfaction before releasing me from her embrace. Then she said to me,
"Thank you for everything you've been doing, we really appreciate them. My mum is awake right now, and I'd like to tell this good news to her, I want her heart to become glad,
She'd be so happy to hear this, and I'm sure she'd like to thank you again when she sees you. Should I tell her?".
"Yes, you're free to do so". I stated.
And with that, she began walking toward the room where their mum was in until she entered it. And after entering, she met her mum still awake, then she relayed the information to her.
And you know what? She was so happy to hear it...very happy. She knew the headache that debt caused, and hearing that it had been cleared off just like that was enough to make her so happy.
..And it was that same guy that paid for her treatment that cleared off the debt.
Was it the heavens that sent that guy to us? That was the thought that kept running through her head.
As for me, I was just getting this inner satisfaction that I was making this family happy. They'd been through a lot, and it was just so nice to see them smile from time to time.
I was glad that I was changing some things in their lives. Mason and I walked toward one of the chairs in the hospital and sat on it, while Jemima was still inside her mum's hospital room.
I would have loved to enter the room to see their mum, but I didn't want to do so for a reason. What was the reason? She'd start thanking me over and over again.
Jemima must have told her that I'd cleared off their debt by now, and I'm sure she was ready to thank me a million times when she set eyes on me...
I think I'd received enough 'Thank you', I didn't want more to resound inside my ears for now. Even if Jemima comes out and tells me that their mum wants to see me, I'd make an excuse not to go meet her.
..And with the excuse I'd already formulated in my head, there's no way they wouldn't believe it.
I was contemplating something right now, should I render the last help to them today? Or should I just push it to tomorrow?
I'd already paid for their mum's treatment, I'd cleared off their debt as well...as known, I needed to do one more to feel completely satisfied.
What I didn't know was if I should do it today or if I should tomorrow, I was still contemplating. I hadn't decided when Jemima came out of their mum's hospital room, walked toward us, and said to me,
"My mum said she'd like to see you".
..Just as I thought, she definitely wanted to shower thanks and appreciations on me.
Remember I had already formulated a nice excuse in my head I was going to tell her once she says something like this. But I didn't plan on making use of the excuse anymore.
"I'd see her next time, that's for sure".
That's what I said, nothing long...
And Jemima was like, "Okay", with a kind of expression on her face.
Now, I was still contemplating whether I should render the last help to them today or not. And in a few seconds, I'd already decided...I was going to do it today.
Once tomorrow reaches, I'd have 6 days remaining to accomplish the quest. I can't waste time, since there was still chance to render the last help to them today, then I should do it.
I don't know how long it would take me to find another poor family that had a valid reason why they were poor. So I should manage my time, 6 days was nothing compared to how time flies.
And according to what I've discerned, we'd have to go to their house to render the last help to them...I can't do it in the hospital here.
..Would they agree to leave the hospital and go to their home? Well, let's see.
Even if they don't agree to do it 'cause they don't want to leave their mum yet, I'd have to persuade them to do it.
"I want to tell you guys something". I said to them.
"What is it?". The both of them inquired with a bit of inquisitive expression on their faces.
"I want the three of us to head to your home right now".
"Why?". Mason inquired.
"There's something I need to do but wouldn't be able to do it in this hospital, I need to do it in you guys' house".
The both of them glanced at each other for some seconds before Jemima's voice resounded while glancing at me,
"Something like what?".
"You'd find out once we get to your house".
The both of them glanced at each other once again before Mason's voice resounded,
"Okay then, let's go".
Then he glanced at Jemima and said to her, "Go and tell mum that we'd be going now, we might come back, or we might not".
And Jemima did just that, she made her way to their mum's hospital room and informed her about it. She asked why Casper didn't come to see her, and Jemima told her he'd come later.
..After she was done informing her mum and had come out of the room, the three of us left the hospital.
We made our way to their house using a bus. The bus dropped us at a certain spot, then we trekked to their house. It's been a few days since I last came to the ghetto.
And why is that? Because I've been busy rendering help to a particular family. After reaching their home as we were inside it right now.
I was sitting on one of the couches in the living room along with Jemima...I didn't care that the couches weren't looking good, all I knew was that I wanted to sit down.
Mason was the only one standing, and after a few minutes of not saying anything to each other, Mason's voice resounded,
"So, what is it that you need to do?".
"I'd like to render another help to you guys". I said going straight to the point.
Their eyes widened a little, then Jemima uttered, "Another help? You just helped in clearing off our debt not too long ago. And now, you want to render another help to us?".
"Yes". I stated.
"Was it the heavens that sent you to us?". Mason inquired, glancing directly at me.
"Maybe". I said and started laughing right after.
..I was doing this to accomplish a quest, and it was also from my heart.
"So, what do you want to help us out with?". Jemima inquired.
"I want to send a good amount of money to you guys that you can use in establishing good businesses for yourselves and change your lives. I want you guys to leave this poverty-stricken life,
If you guys start up good businesses with the money I'd give to you, you can make a fortune. You guys would most likely have passions, you can invest in your passions if you're sure they would bring in good incomes,
Doing well as an entrepreneur would be among the best things that can happen to a person. You both might choose to run a particular business together, or you might choose to invest in different businesses,
If you guys make wise decisions, you can change your lives and leave poverty forever".
Jemima began tearing up after I was done making that utterance, I could see tears flowing out of her eyes...
She was emotional, after all the help I'd rendered them, I still wanted to set them up so they can leave poverty. I'd helped them out a lot, I'd done things that relatives couldn't do for them.
Thinking about it was making her emotional...that's why she was crying. Her brother, Mason, walked toward me and shook my right hand while saying,
"Thank you so much for everything you've done and the one you're about to do, you're family bro".
..Though he was a guy, I could see he was fighting the urge to begin crying.
I stood up from the couch I was sitting on and patted his back a little. Then I started persuading Jemima to stop crying, but she couldn't...she was just too emotional.
Not until she'd cried to her satisfaction that she stopped. After she stopped, I said to them again,
"So, I'd be giving to you guys the sum of $30,000. You can choose to split it amongst each other, so each person would be taking $15,000, or you both can choose to use it to invest in a particular business that you'd be managing together".
