"Come on! Is that all?! Aren't you guys the best magician organization in England?!"
I chuckle a little as I watch Luca and Felicia fighting against twenty magicians from the Golden Dawn. They cannot handle the combination of Rain and Storm Flame. Luca eats their magic away, and Felicia cancels it. The two of them are not someone you want to fight if you are mages.
"What kind of power is that? It is something that many mages will hate."
"And give you our biggest secret? No, thank you."
"Tch. At least your healing pod is as advertised, or I will never allow this insane training and spar."
Yeah. Me too. Training from the time the sun rises to sunset is something that not many people can do, especially for the mages who never run for a long time in their life.
"Of course. We will not lie about our product."
After getting confirmation from Karina, we immediately create an alliance between the Millefiore Family and the Golden Dawn. We have already sent the machine to England; they send more of their mages here.
That is the first training season for them and the first training season between our two alliances. Speaking of alliance….
"Vale!"
I smile a little as I see my lover, Yasaka, run toward me. I catch her when she throws her body into mine and spin her around. After a few seconds, I put her down and said,
"How are you?"
"Doing great! There are some problems in Southern Kyoto, but I can handle it. Oh, right! Let me introduce you to my guardians!"
I look to the side and see two people walk forward. One of them is a Karasu Tengu, and the second one is a Weasel Youkai.
"Vale, this is Kyo. He is the son of my trusted guard. He is my Cloud Guardian."
The Karasu Tengu bows his head and says,
"It is nice to meet you, my lord. Please take care of me from now on."
I give him a smile and nod my head.
"And this is Kana! Instead of me finding her, it is her who finds me. She is my Lightning Guardian."
The woman bows her head and says.
"It is nice to meet you, Lord Millefiore. Thank you for blessing me with the Flame. Without it, I will never be standing here right now."
I pat her head and say.
"It is not a problem."
I look at Yasaka and say,
"You come here to join us to train as well, right?"
"Yup! I also brought some of my troops here to join the attack."
I can see a hundred people talking with each other and looking around the city.
"I see. Do they know that we will attack a vampire faction?"
"Don't worry. I already informed them about the situation and the reason why they are here. They are willing to test their strength, and hunting bloodsuckers will be the perfect fight for them."
I nod and say.
"Anyway, Yasaka. Let me introduce you to Karina. She is the Vice Director of the Golden Dawn from England."
I look at Karina and say.
"Karina, this is Yaska, the Queen of the Western Youkai Faction."
Karina offers her hand, and Yasaka takes it.
"It is an honor to meet you, Lady Yasaka."
"It is also an honor to meet you, Lady Karina."
After introducing each other, Yasaka looks at me and says,
"So, what is the plan, Vale?"
"Right. The general plan is to attack the Tepes Clan territory east of Bucharest. We will attack all the bases they have from Bucharest to Craiova city to the east. My family members already map their base and their movement. We have done our research about their weapons and what kind of magic we can expect from them."
"What kind of magic do they know?"
I look at Karina and say.
"They mostly use dark and shadow magic. However, a formerly mage vampire can use other kinds of magic as well. Most of them can use elemental magic but rarely are able to use a unique element like time, space, or void."
"Good. We don't need magicians who have the physical ability of a vampire."
"Oh, don't worry about that. Most of the vampire-mage we fought in the past have a bad habit of standing still while chanting or creating their magic circle. We are good if we can attack them before they are done chanting and create their magic circle."
Karina gives me an awkward smile and says,
"Then it looks like I need to help my people to break that habit as well. They think that magicians do not need to move. It is hard to cast a long chant spell while moving, but they should not stand still while casting a quick spell. That is why we call it a quick spell."
"So! You want to increase the training, huh?"
"What?"
Yasaka and I grin from ear to ear at her shocked expression. It looks like we will increase the intensity of the training program.

|3rd POV|
While Vale and the others are preparing for their offensive attack against the Tepes Clan, there is someone who is biting their fingernail in frustration.
"Those damn bloodsuckers! How can they be this useless?!"
This young man is one of the few young masters of a noble house who buy 'goods' from the Tepes Clan. What kind of goods? Human slaves.
"They are having a problem with a human faction hunting their farm, young master."
"Tch. That just shows how useless they are. Send someone there and make sure they have the goods I want. I don't care if it is freshly captured goods or not. I need one. It's been a while since I tasted some fresh meat."
"Of course, young master"
While they are talking, they don't know that their conversation is being watched. Floating in the corner of the room is a small bat that disappears after the butler leaves the room. A few seconds later, it appeared in front of a man in his thirties.
The man has crimson hair and blue eyes. This is Sirzechs Lucifer, the strongest devil in the world and the current Satan of Domestic Affairs.
He put his hand on the bat that appeared in front of him and watched what the bat saw for a few seconds before sighing.
"Serafall is right. Where do we go wrong?"
Sirzechs covers his face and releases a tired sigh.
"We are fighting for the next generation, but if the next generation is even worse than the previous one… I don't know anymore."
As he put his head on the table, someone put their hands on his back, comforting him. Sirzechs looks up and sees his wife, Grayfia Lucifuge, give him a small smile.
"There will always be bad apples, Sirzechs. You cannot expect all the apples to be good. Instead of looking at the bad, look at the good every now and then. Take Rias, for example. She is growing up into a good devil and heiress."
Sirzechs smiles and says.
"You are right. Our effort to create a brighter future has not yet been destroyed. We can still fix this."
Sirzechs gets up and says.
"For now, we need to take out the weed that destroys the other flowers. Grayfia, can you gather my peerage? I need their help."
