The situation in the Underhive is intense. Vale and his people sweep through the tunnel that leads to the Underhive like a drill through a rock. It is slow, but we punch through them with relative ease. Slow but steady.
Vale shoots another undead, and when he sees the vampire about to run, he says.
"Luca! Hit them hard! Felicia! Stop their movement!"
His Storm and Rain guardians move and use their flame to make sure no vampires survive. Felicia's Rain Flame stops the movement of the vampire, and Luca's Storm Flame burns them into ashes.
Usually, after the vampire gets killed, the undead disappear and turn into ashes, but only a small portion of the undead disappear from this tunnel. That can only mean one thing. The vampires that made these undead are not here.
Vale takes a deep breath and claps his hand. A second later, a rain of Sky Flame came out of his body, and each 'droplet' hit the undead, burning them into dust.
"Let's move out quickly. We need to kill more vampires inside the Underhive."
After saying that, they get deeper into the Underhive, and after a few minutes of walking, they can see a small village at the end of the tunnel. It is empty, but Vale's sky flame tells me something is wrong in this village than what meets in the eyes.
"Magicians cast your detection spells."
At his order, the magicians he brings with his group quickly cast detection magic, and when the wave of magic washed through the entire village, Vale and the others could see the village light up. Red lights appear in front of us—many inside the house and some in the ceiling.
Seeing their cover blown, the vampires throw their cover and start summoning their undead. Facing hundreds of undead and thirty vampires will be hard for a group of vampire hunters, but for Vale and his family? It is easy.
The fight starts with an explosion from the Vale Sky Flame bomb that takes a good chunk of the undead. The others follow suit. His guardians release their flames and create rainbow explosions that make the vampires have a hard time defending. The magician releases their magic and creates a chain of explosions when it contacts the ground or the enemies.
When some of the undead manage to reach him, Vale swings his sword and cuts the undead into two. After killing the first one, he takes out his pistol and shoots the next undead before dashing forward to the next undead.
As he fights through the enemy, his silver aura starts to appear around his body. Gintoki's battle aura starts to manifest as he continues to swing his sword, killing the enemies. It does not increase his power, but it does increase the intimidation factor.
The vampires who see Vale coming at them start to panic and release a barrage of spells at him. However, each time the spell gets near him, Vale releases a wave of Sky Flame that cancels out the spell.
He doesn't like how close the spell gets to him, but because of his allies around him, he also doesn't want to cancel their attack. That is why he can only send the Sky Flame wave half a meter around his body.
After neutralizing the incoming attack, Vale dashes forward, thrusts his sword, and swings it to the right. He watches as the vampire in front of him splits into two before getting burned into ashes by his Sky Flame.
Vale jumps when his sky flame screams at him to dodge, and just in time, he sees a dark light pass him, hitting the ground instead of him. He looks up and sees a vampire looking at him in panic.
Seeing Vale looking at him, he turns into a cloud of bats and tries to run away. However, Vale points his pistol and pushes a large amount of Sky Flame into it. A burst of Sky Flame comes out of the pistol and obliterates all the bats before they can run away.
Vale looks at the rest of the vampires who are attacking him with a grin on his face, which makes them nervous enough to try to flee. However, before they can even reach one of the tunnels that will let them run away from the Millefiore Family, a purple force field appears in front of all the tunnels.
Skull releases his cloud flame and grins as he creates the force field. He is not known for his firepower, but his defensive ability can rival Lightning Arcobaleno. The vampires try to attack the force field physically and even use their magic, but the force field does not do any damage.
With them trapped in here, the Millefiore attack them with their guns, and when the vampires try to defend themselves, Luca appears in front of them and releases a burst of Storm Flame that eats their barrier and their bodies alive.
It does not take long for the Millefiore Family to kill all the vampires and undead in the village. When they are done, Vale says.
"Burn this place down and make sure to close all the tunnels to this place."
At his order, the Storm Flame squad walks forward and releases a stream of Storm Flame that turns anything it touches into ashes while the Lightning Flame squad makes sure the Storm Flame does not hurt the others.
After they are done, they walk through the tunnel where they come from and seal the entrance to the village. However, when they reach a surface, they are not alone. Standing in front of them is a horde of vampires. This is the undead that tries to take over Vindice.
Vale cannot see or feel any vampires nearby, and that means the higher-ranking vampires already know about their movement and decide to send a horde of undead.
Before Vale can do something, a message spell appears next to his head. He put his finger on the magic circle and said.
"Yasaka? What is it?"
"Our movement is known. Be careful. The scout team notices a strange movement coming to your area."
"Yeah. It is already too late. They are already here."
