Arimur launched four streams of slime from his body at Mikaru's back. In the air, they sharpened into four barbed spear tips. They flew at a blinding speed, but in an instantaneous maneuver, at the last moment before being struck, the young man spun around with a giant smirk on his face as he held the glass cube at the rapidly approaching tendrils.
"No!" Mikaru exclaimed, "I got you!"
Arimur's eyes widened in shock as his appendages struck the spiraling purple vortex and began being sucked into the cube. A powerful shockwave pushed through the room as the slime pushed against the suction, struggling to keep from being swallowed whole.
The four remaining beastmen released bloodcurdling screams as Uhro dushed forward while Atiss, Nek, and Zeki unleashed their own powerful auras. Daveed jumped in the ogre chief's path, activating [Tower of the Mountain King] as a bright orange aura surrounded him, and he dug in his heels, raising his shield.
