Carson's words were heartfelt. He didn't consider any romantic entanglements his parents might have had; she had done too much for his father and mother.
Not to mention this life-saving grace which was very real, and as for the relationship between his father and Adelaide Bautista, it wasn't Carson's place to comment. He could only replace it with the term "fellow disciple and good friend."
