Carson Flores rushed back to the City Lord's Mansion and was immediately brought to Delaney Hunter's side.
Carson had previously demonstrated his medical skills while saving Sarah Tate, which everyone had witnessed. Additionally, since he was Delaney's junior brother in the cultivation, everyone naturally trusted him even more.
Delaney lay unconscious in bed, her complexion pale, with a wisp of cyan between her eyebrows.

Carson wasted no time, sitting down by the bed and beginning his examination.
Hector Tate quickly replied, "The lady came back on her own, but as soon as she touched down, she said 'be careful defending the city, retreat if you cannot hold it,' and then she passed out."
A sinking feeling hit Carson. Did Delaney's words mean someone was planning to attack and take over White Wave City?
Carson focused his mind, knowing the immediate priority was to awaken Delaney.
