"There's blood here!"
Someone shouted from a distance, instantly drawing everyone's attention, and then they all flew over.
This was a fairly smooth bluestone slab, sprinkled with fresh blood, but beyond that, there were no other obvious traces.
Ishaan Roth furrowed his brows as he looked around without uttering a word.
Francisco Smith shared his opinion, "The slab looks smooth as if someone had sat on it. Perhaps the one seeking help rested or cultivated here, and suddenly they were attacked. They only managed to release a distress signal before they were killed..."
Someone asked, "But there are no signs of a battle. With the area so open on all sides, any monster that launched a surprise attack should have been spotted, or at least there should have been some signs of fighting, right?"
Francisco Smith crisply replied, "If the attacker was a beast, it might have consumed the body on the spot. If not a beast, then naturally the body would have been taken away in a Space Ring."
