"Carson Flores, I thought you were part of the Howell Family team, how come it's just you here, where are they?"
Carson gave a casual answer, "I just entered with them, they have the last name Howell, and I have the last name Flores. If we walked together, do you think I would get anything?"
Upon consideration, the group understood the trick to it.
Walking together, Carson would be just a tool, the good stuff definitely wouldn't include him. With him alone and four from the Howell Family, he couldn't beat them in a fight—that would be a sure way to get bullied, right?
In such a situation, it was better to be on his own. If he got lucky, he might still find something valuable.
"Looking at your bulging backpack, it seems like you've made quite the haul."
"I've been lucky. Can I take a look at what you've got?"
