Vasquez Family Mansion.
In the grand living room sat many people, but no one spoke; all faces were somber as if facing a formidable enemy, and the air itself seemed to have congealed.
They were waiting.
There was the sound of a car from outside, followed by the sound of footsteps. A group of three people walked in, with an old man with white hair and beard leading the way; his two long eyebrows hung slightly, his complexion rosy, his eyes deep and spirited, and when he blinked, there seemed to be a faint gleam twinkling within.
In the room, everyone, whether middle-aged men or white-haired elders, stood up in unison and respectfully performed a gesture of attention.
Isaias Vasquez.
The eldest, most revered, and strongest member of the Vasquez Family, also the anchor of the family.
