"Carson Flores, this is Knox Miller."
Carson Flores leaned back in his chair, his expression calm, not the least bit surprised. After all, he had hit the son, and now the father had come—wasn't that to be expected?
"Hmm, what's the matter?"
Knox Miller's voice was steady. "I am aware of the matters with the James Family, Woolery Family, and Browning Family. My son Oscar acted rashly and had a conflict with you. I want to ask you, how do you want to resolve this?"
Carson Flores replied with a composed smile, "What do you suggest we do about it, Miller Family Head?"
Knox Miller answered calmly, "Oscar struck at you, but you also killed Wesley Roth. How about we let bygones be bygones? You don't hold a grudge either, and we stop here?"
