One of the Six Extreme Lands of the Savage Boundary, Eternal Mine Original?
Carson Flores's eyes widened. He had just run from one of the Extreme Lands, the Valley of Death, crossed through void space, escaped for half a day, and now he had ended up in another Extreme Land of Easty Prefecture?
"Is this place where we are now considered an Extreme Land?"
The bearded man shook his head. "The Eternal Mine Original covers a huge area. The part known as the Extreme Land is actually the central region of the Eternal Mine Original, but it has a special name, the Eternal Tombfield."
"Although it's often said that the Eternal Mine Original is an Extreme Land, the reality is that a large area on the periphery is safe, and only the central area—the Eternal Tombfield—is extremely dangerous."
Carson asked, "Are we being sent to mine? Are we mining in the safe peripheral area, or in the dangerous central area?"
