Kaito didn't realize he had overestimated Minato Namikaze's teaching skills. In his mind, if Minato could teach Kakashi, it proved that he was a good teacher, just like himself!

Seeing that Naruto had his father to teach him, he thought, "Our kid can't lose out either." So, he asked Yūrei to bring Sasuke into the dream world.

What Kaito didn't know was that while he was diving deeper into the key points of spiritual power training with Sasuke, Minato was already looking for external help.

Back then, when Minato led his team, the Third Shinobi World War had just broken out. As Konoha's rising star, he was always rushing around the battlefield and had little time to teach his students. After the war ended, two of his three students died, and the only survivor, Kakashi, fell into a slump. Busy with his duties as the new Hokage and with Kushina pregnant, he asked Kakashi to guard her, hoping the new baby would change Kakashi's outlook on life. He thought there was plenty of time for Kakashi to heal. But when he and Kushina sacrificed themselves when Naruto was born, it pushed Kakashi into deeper despair.

So now, seeing Kakashi's indifferent attitude, Minato didn't blame him and was even relieved that Kakashi hadn't fallen into darkness. Teaching his own son hands-on was a new experience for Minato. After a few months of teaching Naruto with confidence, Minato found himself questioning his abilities.

"Is this kid really my son with Kushina?" he wondered. "No, Naruto isn't stupid. I'm just a poor teacher!" In the end, Minato, out of ideas, asked for help from his own teacher. Using the special kunai through the toads, Minato summoned Jiraiya back to Konoha from his sleep in the middle of the night.

Minato and Naruto had moved back to the house he had bought when he got married. Now, wide awake, Jiraiya sat on the sofa, annoyed, listening to Minato pour out his heart about being a father.

"My teaching skills must be terrible. Please take over teaching Naruto, Jiraiya-sensei," Minato said, looking defeated.

"Of course, compared to me, your teaching skills are terrible," Jiraiya said proudly.

"Yes," Minato replied, lowering his head.

"But honestly," Jiraiya said, picking his nose, "that kid Naruto is really dumb!"

"That's not true!" Minato weakly defended. "Naruto is just like Kushina in character, and she's very good at sealing techniques. It's just that Naruto's potential hasn't been realized yet."

"No, he's really dumb," Jiraiya said mercilessly.

Minato clutched his chest in pain.

"Alright." Jiraiya patted Minato's shoulder with the hand he had been picking his nose with.

Swoosh! Minato quickly moved to the other side.

Unfazed, Jiraiya continued, "Alright, actually, Naruto isn't dumb. He's just good at different things than you. You can't teach him using your own experience."

"As for sealing techniques," Jiraiya continued, getting more comfortable, "don't even think about it. That kid doesn't even understand the basic concept of chakra."

"Isn't that still dumb?" Minato covered his face.

Jiraiya smirked, "The kid may not be good with book knowledge, but he's got some smarts in battle."

"So what should I do?" Minato asked, worried. "As a jinchuriki, Naruto should learn sealing techniques for safety."

"Don't make him remember things with his brain," Jiraiya said cryptically. "Make him remember with his body."

"Forget about other sealing techniques. See if he can awaken the Adamantine Sealing Chains," he suggested.

"Seriously, I have to worry about a former Hokage's kid too," Jiraiya grumbled as he stood up. "Naruto didn't get a good foundation when he was little. Now you can only teach him in the simplest, most straightforward way."

"I'm going to bed," he said, heading to the guest room.

"Thank you so much, Jiraiya-sensei." Minato, feeling like he had received some golden advice, was reinvigorated. He quickly ran to his room, grabbed paper and pen, and started writing a new teaching plan.

...

In the dream world.

"Let's stop here for today," Kaito told Sasuke. "Even in the dream world, using your spiritual power can tire you out. Don't let it affect your training tomorrow."

"I understand," Sasuke replied.

"Yūrei," Kaito said to the girl sitting next to him, "take Sasuke back."

"No problem," Yūrei said with a slight smile, reaching out to Sasuke.

Sasuke felt uneasy, and the next second, countless butterflies swarmed him. "You!" he glared at Yūrei through the layers of butterflies.

"Good night, Sasuke," Yūrei said.

The butterflies flew by, and Sasuke disappeared from the spot.

"Don't you think you're a bit rough with him?" Kaito asked Yūrei, hesitating.

"Oh, are you blaming me, Kaito?" Yūrei gently lowered her eyes, raising her wide sleeve to cover her face, speaking softly.

Kaito felt a chill down his spine and quickly said, "No, it's fine. Sasuke's a boy. He doesn't need to be treated gently."

"As long as Kaito isn't blaming me, I'm relieved," Yūrei said, putting down her sleeve and smiling.

"Why would I blame you?" Kaito said seriously, patting her back lightly. "Thank you for helping to take care of him while I'm not home."

"No need to thank me. It's my duty," Yūrei said, leaning on his shoulder.

Feeling her weight on his shoulder, Kaito looked down to see Yūrei's butterfly-like eyelashes trembling slightly. He patted her back again gently. Neither spoke.

They were still in the place where Yūrei had previously danced her prayer dance, under the blooming night sakura. Petals fell gently around them.

"Kaito," Yūrei's cool voice broke the silence.

"Hmm?" Kaito watched the falling petals.

"Everything you're doing will succeed, right?" Yūrei caught a petal in her hand.

"It will definitely succeed," Kaito replied with absolute confidence.

"You'll come back to Ōeyama safely, right?"

"Yes."

"Everyone will defeat the Otsutsuki, right?"

"Yes."

"Kaito will successfully rebuild the Yellow Springs Hell, right?"

"Yes."

"Kaito won't die and will always be with me, right?"

"That's impossible! You should know that nothing in the world is immortal. Humans die, yokai die, even gods die."

"..."

"Kaito, you big dummy!"

"Eh?"
