Cloud Village, Raikage Office.
"Raikage-sama," a woman with white hair and dark skin pushed open the door to the Raikage's office and walked in briskly. "News about Uchiha Kaito."
The burly, dark-skinned Fourth Raikage, A, looked up from his documents.
"Mabui, has that Uchiha kid gone to Grass Village?"
Raikage's secretary, Mabui, shook her head and handed over a document. "Raikage-sama, according to our intelligence, Kaito recently left the Land of Demons."
"What was that kid doing in the Land of Demons?" A glanced at the document, then impatiently set it down and asked Mabui directly.
Mabui began to explain, "Kaito suddenly appeared in the Land of Demons and entered the sealed site of the demon Moryo with the shrine maiden of the Land of Demons. Afterwards, the shrine maiden announced to the people that Moryo had been completely dealt with."
A was a bit surprised. "Is it true that Moryo has been dealt with?"
Mabui shook her head. "Our agents investigated both of Moryo's sealed locations afterward, and Moryo is indeed gone. However, we cannot be certain that the demon is completely dead."
"You mean to say?" A frowned deeply.
"Raikage-sama, there's a possibility that the demon could be used in the same way as a tailed beast," Mabui said calmly. "We cannot rule out this suspicion."
A thought for a moment and then commanded, "Relay this information to Darui in Grass Village. Also, if Kaito appears in Grass Village, use Heavenly Transfer Jutsu to send me there immediately."
"Understood," Mabui responded. "Are you planning to take action personally, Raikage-sama?"
"It's more secure if I'm there in person," A said gravely. "That old fox, the Tsuchikage, thinks he can fool me, but I know exactly what he's planning!"
Mabui continued, "The Tsuchikage is outwardly taking a tough stance, but he actually intends to draw Kaito to himself for recruitment."
A scoffed. "Heh, Iwagakure has been lacking in talent for years. Kaito has severed ties with Konoha, and the Tsuchikage is hoping to scoop him up."
"So what about us, Raikage-sama?"
"Of course, we need to recruit him too. If we succeed, Cloud Village will gain a powerful bloodline clan." A's voice turned cold. "If that kid doesn't submit to Cloud Village, then he'll be eliminated."
"Understood, Raikage-sama."

A similar scene unfolded in the northwest, in Iwagakure of the Land of Earth.
Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage, was the oldest of the current Kage in the ninja world. Despite his advanced age and small stature, no one underestimated him. His cunning was matched by his formidable strength, with his mastery of Earth Release techniques and his Bloodline Selection Dust Release.
"Kurotsuchi," Onoki instructed the short-haired girl beside him, "inform Bun'ya in Grass Village. If that Uchiha kid shows up, send word immediately. I will go there myself."
"Understood, Grandfather," Kurotsuchi replied.
Onoki frowned. "This is the Tsuchikage's office. Call me Tsuchikage-sama!"
Kurotsuchi sighed. "Alright, Tsuchikage-sama. But you're too old to be working so hard. You should pass the village on to the younger generation."
"If you youngsters were more capable, I wouldn't have to work so hard at my age," Onoki grumbled unhappily.
He continued resentfully, "Konoha is truly blessed, producing geniuses one after another. They even abandoned the Uchiha clan so easily."
Kurotsuchi bluntly responded, "Didn't the Uchiha want to rebel? If Konoha hadn't abandoned them, we wouldn't have the chance to recruit."
"You don't understand. A village cannot tolerate a rebellious clan, but killing them all is a waste. Keeping just one kid is useless!"
"You really worry too much about other villages."
"Who's worrying about others? I just can't stand it!"
"Got it, got it. But who knows if Kaito will even go to Grass Village."
"Does he want to offend the Five Great Nations completely?"
"Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see."

Kaito wasn't concerned about the various ninja waiting for him in Grass Village. Instead, he was troubled by his next target.
According to the information provided by Seimei, the entity named Shinigami usually resided in a special otherworldly space and only appeared for specific transactions. This transaction was related to a unique sealing technique called Shiki Fujin.
Shiki Fujin was the ultimate sealing jutsu of the Uzumaki clan. The user could summon the Shinigami, who would sever the target's soul with a sword and devour it, thus sealing the target's soul. However, the user would also be bound by a contract with the Shinigami, and their soul would also be devoured, resulting in an eternal struggle within the Shinigami's stomach.
This seal could be undone. In the Uzumaki Mask Hall in Konoha, a Shinigami mask could be used to summon the Shinigami. By cutting open the Shinigami's stomach, the sealed souls would be released, but the user would become a sacrifice.

At this moment, Chiri reminded, "Kaito, you're overlooking another factor."
"What do you mean, Miss Chiri?" Kaito asked.
Chiri explained, "Since the Box of Ultimate Bliss was originally created by Kaguya, the mastermind behind the Akatsuki would know its secrets. Your previous actions were not secretive, so they likely know your goal by now."
"This is indeed a problem," Kaito's expression changed as he fell into deep thought.
