"You haven't told him anything?" Kaito looked at Jiraiya curiously.

This kid!

Jiraiya's face twitched. He placed his large hand on Naruto's head and ruffled his hair.

"What do you mean? Pervy Sage, you know something too, right?" Naruto pushed Jiraiya's hand away, looking at him suspiciously.

Jiraiya's expression was complicated, and he hesitated to speak.

Naruto stared at him for a while, then quietly lowered his head.

"Since I was little... I've been alone." His voice carried a hint of anger. "Since you all know something, why... why am I the only one who knows nothing?"

"Naruto." Jiraiya put his hand on Naruto's head again. "The Uzumaki clan no longer exists."

"Why?" Naruto looked up, his eyes moist, stubbornly gazing at him.

"It's really troublesome." Jiraiya scratched his head, then suddenly looked at Kaito, who was watching the scene unfold.

"Hey, Uchiha brat." He picked his nose with his finger. "Since you started this mess, you should explain it clearly to this idiot!"

"Jiraiya-senpai, are you serious?" Kaito raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Aren't you worried I might say something inappropriate..."

"It doesn't matter, just get it done!" Jiraiya pushed Naruto forward.

'Hmph, what could this kid possibly know?'

Naruto's true identity was a top secret, known to very few in Konoha. Danzo would never leak this secret either.

Kaito raised an eyebrow and nodded slightly.

Naruto's eyes widened with anticipation as he looked at him.

Kaito began his story: "The Uzumaki clan lived for generations in the Whirlpool Village of the Land of Whirlpools, which was adjacent to the Land of Fire. They were distant relatives of the Senju clan and one of the oldest families in ninja history."

Naruto's face was filled with admiration. "That's amazing!"

"The Uzumaki were the only clan proficient in sealing techniques," Kaito continued. "The wife of the First Hokage of Konoha, Uzumaki Mito, was the first to seal the Nine-Tails within herself, thus creating the concept of Jinchuriki."

Naruto couldn't help but touch his own stomach.

"Although other villages also tried to seal tailed beasts within their ninjas, their sealing techniques were not as effective, causing their Jinchuriki to frequently lose control, leading to great losses," Kaito explained slowly.

"The Uzumaki clan's sealing techniques were naturally coveted. Ultimately, the Land of Whirlpools, which possessed great treasures but lacked sufficient power to protect itself, was destroyed."

"How could this happen!" Naruto clenched his fists. "Just for that reason, so many innocent people were killed?"

"This world has always been cruel, kid." Jiraiya patted his shoulder, speaking heavily. "That's why people keep standing up to pursue the path to peace."

"What about Konoha?" Naruto lowered his head.

"What?"

Naruto raised his head and shouted, "Why didn't Konoha help the Land of Whirlpools? Isn't it said that the First Hokage's wife was a princess of the Land of Whirlpools?"

"Who knows." Kaito said calmly, "You should ask the Third Hokage about that."

"This..." Jiraiya felt a headache coming on, looking helplessly at Kaito. This kid really had no good intentions!

"Konoha was also at war at the time. By the time they received the news, it was too late."

In the end, he could only explain it this way, as Lady Mito had accepted this explanation back then.

"Maybe so." Kaito didn't say much more and continued his story to Naruto. "Later, your mother was brought to Konoha as a survivor of the Land of Whirlpools."

'Mother...'

Just hearing this word caused a strong emotion to surge in Naruto's heart. He clutched his chest, feeling a deep yearning for something missing inside him.

Meanwhile, Jiraiya was already petrified.

How is this possible?

A mistake! This kid might know everything!

Naruto didn't notice Jiraiya's reaction; he was fully absorbed in the news about his mother. He couldn't help but grab Kaito's sleeve.

"Do you know my... mom? Please tell me!" His voice faltered slightly as he said "mom" for the first time.

"Your mother was named Uzumaki Kushina," Kaito answered readily. "At that time, Uzumaki Mito, who was the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, was getting old, so your mother naturally became the new Jinchuriki."

Naruto looked at his stomach with a new perspective, realizing this might be his only connection to his mother.

Jiraiya knew it was too late to stop him. Naruto had already learned too much to be kept in the dark any longer.

Sure enough, Naruto soon brought up his father.

"What about my dad, and... how did my parents die?"

"Your father was the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato," Kaito said, shocking everyone. "As for the other question, I don't know since I had left Konoha by then. It seems the Nine-Tails broke free from its seal, and your parents sacrificed themselves to reseal it."

He suggested, "Maybe you could ask the Nine-Tails directly?"

Naruto lowered his head again, silent.

"Naruto!" Jiraiya, worried, put his hands on Naruto's shoulders, crouched down, and said solemnly, "Minato was my most talented student. He was a true genius. He sacrificed himself as the Hokage to protect the village. He was a true hero!"

"Why..." Tears fell from Naruto's eyes as he whispered.

"Why... was the Nine-Tails sealed in me." He wiped his eyes. "I had a tough time growing up alone..."

"Naruto..." Jiraiya opened his mouth but didn't know what to say.

"Why did no one ever tell me this?" Naruto looked up, touching his stomach, with a forced smile. "I'm not a demon fox; my dad was the Fourth Hokage I admired so much, and both my parents were heroes..."

Jiraiya wanted to explain but couldn't find the words.

"The Nine-Tails..." Naruto looked at his stomach again. "Did the Nine-Tails kill my parents?"

"Hahahaha..." The Nine-Tails' laughter echoed in Naruto's sealed space. "Yes, I killed your parents. Hate me, kid!"

Its voice reached Naruto's heart.

"Hate me, Naruto! Not only me, but an Uchiha was also responsible! It was that person who broke the seal when Kushina was giving birth! Take your revenge! Start with the Kaitoght in front of you!!"

Naruto's eyes turned red, with slit-like pupils faintly appearing, and the whisker marks on his face thickened.

"Naruto! Calm down!" Jiraiya shook Naruto's shoulders vigorously. "Minato sealed the Nine-Tails in you, hoping you would also become a hero!"

"No, I can't..." Naruto suppressed the overwhelming emotions in his heart, quickly returning to normal. "I won't listen to the Nine-Tails. I can't let my parents down."

"Thank you, Sasuke's uncle! Thank you for telling me all this." His eyes regained their clarity, and he smiled a bit foolishly. "Please tell Sasuke I won't lose to him!"
